It hadn’t been her first choice, but life rarely left her that option. White-blue eyes were bright as she headed for the medical bay. Had to follow the rules. Had to get scanned, talked to and approved before the ship read her as intruder and started hobbling her wanderings. As the newest Councelor on The Leviathan, she thought that might hinder her job. So here she was, stepping into medical, a hand reaching up to press an errant strand of blue-black hair behind her ear.

She looked around to see if the Medical Chief was available or someone who could point her in the right direction. As she waited, she watched the people come and go, her stance being just inside and left of the door. While she was pleased that there wasn’t a constant parade of people in and out of sickbay, she wasn’t as pleased that nearly every department’s color was represented at least once. She made a mental note to get sick bay reports to see if these folks were regulars, there was something happening on board, or it was, as it looked, truly random.

Like most, she hoped for the best and planned for the worse. Even on a non-work day, the woman was always playing twenty different scenarios of how things could play out.
