Lazol had always scoffed at the requirements and regulations of Starfleet. They served nothing more than to get in the way of profit! Doctors were good for finding problems, usually expensive ones, and wanting to just rip the patient off. Bah! He didn’t have the patience.

But

He was obliged to follow the rules, as stupid as they may be, of the vessel he found himself in command of. As such he made his way grumpily down to sickbay and entered the room, “I need to be examined!” He shouted with a snarl at the room, expecting someone to quickly come see him.

The wait had only been a few minutes but he was already annoyed at having to follow starlet rules. He started to pace up and down, grumpily glaring at any and all who made eye contact.
