Steven Marsh walked into sickbay and took a seat in one of the chairs. He had scheduled his medical check-in so someone would be along shortly. Whether it was the CMO or just a doctor didn’t matter to him. It was a formality that needed to be checked off the list.

Brad came quite literally tumbling out of his office, followed by a cascading stack of PADDs. “Sorry about that, Lieutenant! Got caught up in some work. Give me just a minute to collect these back up and then I can get to your check up!”

After setting the PADDs all once more inside the door, he crossed over to whichever biobed Steven opted for. “Anything I should be aware of?”

Steven watched the CMO with slight bemusement. In the life of a scientist, the only critical moments in his day to day were at the end of an experiment. Most of the time it was just a lot of waiting for an experiment to complete to process the data. As a doctor, people were always coming into the medical department and one had to drop what they were doing to treat them. Steven vaguely wondered if all those PaDD’s were the accompanying paperwork for the job. If so he was glad he never went that career route. “No just coming in for my arrival medical processing. Can I help you with that?”
