Jean finally came aboard and after stowing his belongings that he hand carried with him, in his quarters, he made his way to Sickbay to get his physical done. Walking in he went up to the counter and asked whoever was there in a heavy French accent; “Excuse me. I just arrived and am in need of a boarding physical. Do you all have time?”

“Welcome aboard,” hummed and NE nurse who delayed long enough to input a request to pathology before turning his attention to Jean, “of course. Let me check who’s available for an on-boarding assessment.”

Sooner than he could pull up the roster, a curly-haired physician stepped behind the desk to transfer a PaDD to the nurse, catching the tail-end of his comment.

“Here for a boarding physical?” They echoed with a smile at Jean. “I have a moment before my 10 o’clock. If you’ll follow me to biobed 12, we can get you on your way in no time.”

“Doctor Álvaro-Byrd,” they rounded the desk and offered a hand, “welcome to the Leviathan, Lieutenant…?”

After he introduced himself, Amparo smiled and jabbed a finger at the adjacent ward as if to say ‘onward!’ and found their way to a biobed in the northwestern corner of the room, snagging a tricorder along the way.

“Take a seat,” they gestured to the bed and took a moment to calibrate the tricorder, “and tell me about yourself. Any conditions, procedures, unexpected genetic manipulation that I should know about?”
