Nivor watched the young girl leave before turning back to the ensign, an eyebrow quirked. “I am phaser certified, and hand to hand certified as required by Starfleet. I tend to stay in my lane and let security personnel deal with most things that would require combat, unless it’s called for.”

Rhansi nodded. The ship was classified as a combat vessel, after all. “I have increased my training time,” he told her as he walked back over to the small couch in the office. “And… no questions I can think of,” he continued, lifting a PADD. “I have managed to visit all the departments, tour most of the ship, familiarize myself with deck layouts - as much as I can without going through them day after day.” He swiped across the device’s screen a few times. “I certainly know where the cargo bay and other storage areas are,” he chuckled.
