Soon the Starfleet Security ship, the USS Waterloo, arrived and the meeting arrangements were made. The CO, Captain Favian Worx, a joined Trill, accompanied by Commander Robert Shan, a human, and Lt. T’Pax, a Vulcan, were to be transported to the Dresden via Transporter Room 1.

Walking in with the two security officers in her step, Manning nodded to the Transporter Chief. Looking back up to the Transporter pad, she asked. “Are they ready to transport?”

The chief nodded and on her orders, slid his fingers on the controls.

Amelia watched as the usual beams ‘apparated’ their new guests into the transporter pad.

The three Starfleet officers materialised on the pad and found two smiling officers and one impassive one.

“Permission to come on board,” said Captain Worx.

Manning gave Captain Worx a polite nod. If there was anything she had learnt from her mother, it was how to welcome guests. “Permission granted, Sir. Welcome to the Dresden. If you would follow me, I’ll escort you to the Bridge. The Captain is waiting on his Ready Room.” Her British accent slightly thicker.
