Deck 22 frame 96, Enginering crew quarters.
As the door to his quarters slid open Stores smiled, Cheif Purser Zelic wasn’t impressed buy te way he had arrived on the Dresden and had assigned him arguable the worst quarters available. Situated aft of Main Enginering and of an irregular shape comprising about 1/2 the size of the other enlisted quarters and tucked into an odd space is the superstructure between the warp warp nacelles pylons almost as an afterthought.
Insted of the two twins and a pair of desks, Stores’ had a bunk bed and a single desk, plus some protrusions into the overhead. It fit him well, being larger than the Space he had had on the Tortuga, and unlike the Vigilance, privat.
The upper bunk currently houses an EVA frame painted high vis yellow and white, along with an open suitcase containing a 3D fabricator.
Setting down on the lover bunk, ^Computer, replay simulation simulation S021> Unloading his pockets onto the desk and undressing wile listening to the computer calling out readings and his own voice providing comintary to an attempted active plasma conduit replacement va insitue replication. Stores tosses his clothes into the replicator and steps into the sonic shower.
A few minutes later, Stores steps out just in time to see the simulation literally blow up in virtual face. Retrieving fresh clothes from the replicator and pulling on the EVA compression suit before setting down to review the readings and make notes. Well we are up to fifty fifty, but there is still a massive energy pulse, let’s try slowing down the reversion rate…
Hitting a road block, Stores orders dinner and begins calabrating the mater/energy conversion matrix for the bootleg replicator.
