Ellie looked at Reed “Stay here. Keep a phaser on you at all times.” SHe said “I’m going to the Bridge. As I learn information I’ll let you know. I want you to continue scanning for any unusual energy signatures. THey may come back.”

Turning to look at the senor engineer, Stores replied “ Yes m’am” and as he turnes back to his station to reconfigure it “I always do”

Reconfiguring his Tricorder to monitor EM emissions Stores again splits his main console to monitor General Enginering systems along with transporters. =^= computer, what are internal sensors scanning from the intruders? =^= receiving his answer of psionic emissions, Stores added them to his Tricorder configuration.

Systems reports would show that the ship had been moving, and for 2.3 seconds the sensors recorded a flurry of spatial distortion and energy all around them, and then everything was back to normal.

There were still damage reports coming in, mostly minor, but a notable amount of bulkhead damage and ruptured conduits in the Counselor’s office.

Rotating his attention from the sensor information, damage control and transporters, Stores quickly downloads the 2.3 seconds of anomales readings, along with the corasponding internal sensors and Enginering systems logs to a PPAD. Then queuing up damage control to the Counselor’s office. =^= Team three, asign someone to get Tricorder readings down there, the bosses are going to want to know what happend to the Counselor, so lets try and preserve some evidence before we stomp all over it. =^=

Stores began sorting threw the damage reports and doing triage, the ship was at condition red and remembering all the inherent dangers of moving around ship he sorted the non critical systems to one pile, critical but still operating with at least two redundancies and critical and only one redundancy, and queuing repair parties to that last list. Finally forwarding what he had done to the bridge Enginering station. =^= I have despatched damage control to the CCO’s office with instructions to make scans as well as make temporary repairs, as well as assigned repair teams to critical systems=^=

Stores quickly checks to insure that infact the warp core, primary reactors and axilery reactors are at max rated out put and standing buy to go to 120%. Wile bringing both the worp relays and impulse reactors to standbuy along with the phaser, photon torpedo and shield relays.

Sparing a quick glance to the statis board to see if any other systems had gone into the read and needed repair teams, Stores began prepping deliveries from the ships stores to the repair crews, fighter bays and torpedo crews.

With the automated assists set and satisfied that he had his end lined out as well as he could, Stores began to prepare himself for the potential chaos to come.

Wiles paced the length of main engineering, making eye contact every couple minutes with his counterpart, NE Astin, as she patrolled the other side of the open space. He was on edge, watching every inch of the space like a hawk. Having hostiles beam through shields… was unnerving. Several other security ensigns from security division three had arrived to help at Osten’s direction, having identified engineering as a point of interest for whatever these beings were.

“Any way we can boost internal shielding to the warp core?” he asked to no one and everyone at the same time.

Not turning away from his work, but looking some what like a mad man punchining invisble keys and waving his hands at the air “I have already erected forcefeilds to protect critical components, but I could use another set of eyes figuring out how our friends got aboard and to stop them”

Mumbling seemingly to himself =^= Computer, give limited access to terminal ME 3 to Ensign Olsen, Please=^= “If you don’t mind looking at sensor logs plus, minus five, I am looking at the diagnostic logs to see what I can see there”

Now that Stores was satisfied that not only were the phaser banks and shield assemblies fully charged but that he had stashed every spare watt of energy into power banks in every consevable system around the ship and had spares qued up for transport from ships stores for the torpedo and fighter decks as well as repair and damage control teams. He could spare more attention to the problem of stopping another hostile incursion into his ship.

Bump, I know it’s hard to be creative when your worried about the state of the world but a little escapism might be what we need…

OOC: That’s so odd, I could have sworn that I responded to this… like I know what the post I wrote said and everything. Strange.

Wiles paused to regard the engineer for a second before moving to do as he suggested. Ensign Osten pulled up the sensor logs for the moments before and after their adversaries were in engineering, looking for any kind of change in the scans that might provide a clue as to how they were able to materialize through the Dresden’s shields.

“I’ve heard of extremely rare instances where someone took advantage of the EM ‘windows’ that are created by the normal rotation of shield frequencies to utilize transporter technology through shields. But they would have to have intimate knowledge of our defenses to do so, and I didn’t even hear or see any sign of re-materialization…” Wiles’ brow furrowed. “What we’re dealing with here is probably entirely different and extremely advanced.”
