Katie froze as Domingo’s hand reached out and she let out the breath she didn’t realize she was holding as the hand stopped as a voice interrupted.

Domingo did not take notice of the change in reaction of the CNS as his focus was diverted by the new arrivals.

Katie watched the doctors descend on them and gave a small smile to Chavez. “Well, it looks like you’re in good hands now,” she offered, softly, only for him to hear, and then turned her attention to Bailey and Janvier.
