Hello everyone,

As many of you know, I’ve had a fairly difficult year that began with a ton of stress at a volunteer position and then pneumonia… and this was then just before the pandemic struck and caused a huge increase in my responsibilities at home, at work, and within the volunteer position context. I’ve been trying to find a way to make remaining as CO of the Chimera tenable for me, looking at everything from bringing in a new XO to train to a new ship class, but the simple fact of the matter is that I don’t have the time or the energy to see these projects through right now, as much as I would like to.

So, with a heavy heart, I’m letting you all know that I have decided to step down as CO of the Chimera. I did have several amazing applications for the XO position that I’ll pass along to Steven and Kate and I have faith they will find an amazing replacement for me, potentially out of that bunch. I will truly miss roleplaying with you all and I am so thankful to have been a part of this ship for the last six months.
