With help from the computer Mike found his way to the sick bay for his boarding physical. He entered the room and took a set because they looked busy today.

Areiana smiled warmly, glancing up from the medical console. “Give me just a moment,” she said politely.

She finished entering the last of the patient’s information into the computer, double-checking the readings before setting the medical tricorder back on its charging station. Satisfied that everything was in order, she removed her gloves and made her way across Sickbay with an easy, confident stride. As she walked, she brushed a loose strand of red hair behind her ear, her long braid swaying lightly against the back of her uniform.

Stopping a comfortable distance from the newcomer, she offered a friendly smile that helped soften the otherwise clinical atmosphere of Sickbay.

“Hello,” she greeted. “You must be one of our new crew members. I don’t believe we’ve met before.”

She extended a hand in greeting.

“My name is Areiana Blackford. I’m the Chief Medical Officer aboard the ship.” Her tone was welcoming yet professional, carrying the quiet confidence of someone who was completely at home in her role. “It’s nice to finally meet you. Welcome aboard.”

Her emerald eyes studied the newcomer for a brief moment—not with suspicion, but with the practiced observation of a physician who instinctively assessed everyone she met. Finding nothing immediately concerning, her smile widened just a touch.

“So,” she continued, lowering her hand after the greeting, “what can I do for you today? Are you here for your initial medical evaluation, or were you just looking for Sickbay?”

Mike was taking her back by the sheer beauty and the woman before him, but then he finally came back to his senses. “ oh yes, hello my name is Mike Isekai I am the new civilian cook for the vessel and I’m also gonna be taking over the bar once I get one started” he said, placing down some of the bags that he was carrying and took her hand and shook it “ according to the computer I am to report here for my boarding physical before I am able to do anything else on the vessel” he said with a pleasant voice this seems to flow like honey
