Emberlee was piloting her way to meet up with the USS Chimera. Once within range she opened hailing frequencies =^= Lt Atkins to USS Chimera, requesting permission to dock.=^= She said as she waited for permission to enter the hanger bay with her fighter. The transfer from the Memorial to the Chimera had been sudden. All she had been told was she was transferring, no questions were allowed.

Captain M’alek waited on the flight deck for the new ariveal, Padd in hand his tail swisshing back and forth will he read Atkin’s flight jacket.

Atkins followed the vectors given and slid smoothly into bay 2. She saw a Marine Major standing to the side apparently waiting for her. She shut her bird down, opened the canopy, grabbed her small flight bag, everything else would come when it the next transport arrived. She climbed out of the cockpit and put her helmet under her arm and walked over to the Major “1st Lt Emberlee Atkins reporting for duty as ordered.” She said and saluted the Major. Once the formality was out of the way, she would hand over the Data Padd with her transfer orders.

IC: Shifty returned her salute his catian tail swishing back and for. “Nice Landing Lieutenant Emmmbreleee” he purred out as he took the Padd and looked it over, “Good, at ease, and welcome to the Chimera. “Lets head to my office, after that you’ll need to head to sickbay to get a medical.” he said turning on his heals. “Tell me a little bit about yours Lieutenant.

Emberlee nodded “Of course Major. ” She said setting her helmet next to her locker that she took. She followed the Catian out of the flight deck “Thank you for the compliment on the landing. I try to treat my bird and the ship the same take care of both of them and they’ll take care of you.” She said as she walked along.

Shifty’s tail swissed back and forth slightly as he gave a slight nod. “This is a fact, that i’m glad you are aware of” he noted as they entered his office. “Grab a drink if you would like he noted as he sat down. “So, tell me Lieutenant, have you reviewed the squadrons on board the Chimera and do you have a preference?” he asked looking through his notes.

Emberlee grabbed a cup of black coffee and sat down “I have sir. I would like Alpha Squadron.” She said taking a long drink of the dark hot liquid. Liquid gold if you asked her. She looked at the Major “If that’s not available, then put me where you need me most. I’m not picky about many things.” She said honestly.
