Hey folks, I’m sorry if this post might be found annoying but I’d rather ask than stay silent. I’ve been reading about the mission and how it has been handled. My question really comes down to the point in how o would be able to involve my character (she’s an ensign) if her department head is LOA into the plot line? I would really appreciate some pointers for this. Can be written directly through this thread or through comms if it’s easier.

That is a bit tough. What I would do in this case, because this is a bit of an extreme case, is feel free to jump into the sim where the Chief Science Officer would have. Such as if there is something we are waiting on Science to do before we can move the sim forward, go ahead and jump in there. Some analysis or something, easy enough for you to do.

Or, you are welcome to come down to the hanger bay and help with the runabout. Say you were sent down to double check engineering’s work or something. ha
