The path to this point had been an interesting one to say the least. Journeying through several vessels after the academy had proven a useful building of character and experience. Most officers would prefer to stay on one vessel for a while, but Sean enjoyed his path.

The small shuttle quickly zipped up to meet the Chimera and Moore hopped out with his duffel bag alongside the rest of the newcomers. They were mostly enlisted, but Sean did manage to meet another flight control crewman that would be working one of the shuttlebays. This was a massive ship and they would need myriad people ‘on deck’ to manage things. The CAG and marines would handle most of the day-to-day, but naval work would be critical as well.

Sean found his way to a deck officer to check-in and then made his way to a turbolift to find the first officer. That was his target for signing in. And interestingly enough, this was not on the ‘top’ of the ship. “Deck 23,” he said to the computer.

After the lift slipped him to the deck, the doors opened and he walked towards the CIC. It was a marvelous site on this huge ship. Sean quickly found the XO and dropped his bag to come to a salute. “Sir, Lieutenant Moore reporting for duty.”

Finn looked up from the console he was standing over and gave the other officer a smile. “Welcome, Lieutenant! Glad to have you here, I understand you’re gonna be taking over as chauffeur on this trip?”

He glanced down at the bag Moore had dropped on the deck plating and raised an eyebrow. “Did they forget to show you where you were staying first?”
