Hammond steped briskley into sickbay, he did not have his own doctors in the task force currently so he would have to rely on starfleet doctors do keep his men in top shape. He had somethings he wanted to discuse with thier Chief Medical Officer as well. Kilo trotted attached to his right leg like she were glued there.

“Colonel Hammond, reporting for medical” he noted and stood there waiting.

“Hello Colonel, I will be right with you.” Lt. Burcham stated after hearing him announce himself. He called for a nurse to the biobed with the patient he was currently working on. “Take over here, please. He just needs checked up to make sure everything’s back in shape, and should be able to go in a few hours.” He told her, and she acknowledged. he then walked up to the Colonel. “Sorry for the wait, Sir, what seems to be the illness today?” He asked the Colonel.

He looked over, “Just here for my physical Lieutanant, or I guess I should say we are” he noted looking down to Kilo briefly, he was in peak physical condition as was Kilo this was more a formality than anything else. “I do have some buisness to talk over with you once we are done here though” he noted

“Alright, we can handle that buisness in my office, sounds like it might be something the whole medical bay don’t need to even have the possibility to be eaves dropping on.” He responded as he looked down at Kilo, then over at his own dog in the corner of the room on her dog bed. “Hello Kilo, I’m Drake, and that over there, is Eleanor.” He stated then started running the diagnostics from his tricorder. “So far everything is looking good for both of you, anything we should be concerned about that is not already on your medical report?” He asked.

Kilo’s head cocked side ways, and then she looked over at Eleanor fighting her need to go identify the new dog, she sat still next to the table where she had been ordered to stay.

“Everything is in order i think, my scare tends to get a little tight from time to time when I forget to use the cream” he said raising his hand, “I know it cane be fixed but it’s a reminder to me on the the cost of war” he said. “I’m in peak shape otherwise, still PT as much as I can” he noted.

“Alright then, you are all set and ready, but as you stated there was more to this visit than just your onboarding physical, would you like to move to the office, and discuss the next order of buisness?” He asked, pointing at his office door.

Hammond stood, “That would be good, I could use a cup of coffee if you have time” he noted. There was a lot to cover, his task force was not fully staffed and he would need the ship crew to fill some of the gaps if there department heads were willing.

Lt. Burcham walked over to his replicator, and ordered a coffee and a Raktajino. He handed the coffee to Colonel Hammond. “What can I help you with Colonel?” He asked.

Hammond took the coffee and smiled. “Well to the point then,” he said. “We are a little short on medical rotation for the Angels ,our SAR unit. I was hoping You might have some feet officers that would like to cross server as pararescue specialist” he asked

“I’m sure I can find some staff for that, no problem, might even lend a hand myself.” Lt. Burcham responded. “I’ll ask around, but I’m pretty sure mostly all of us would help out, especially if that means we get to do more away missions.” He continued.

“Excellent” he said, “I’ll have someone from the squadron connect with you, to get some training going” he noted. “That’s all I had really, is there anything you need?”

“No sir, not at this time.” Lt. Burcham responded. “I look forward to meeting your team and starting this new training and learning experience.” He stated eagerly.
