Kilo sat staring up at halmond waiting on him for any sign that she was going to get to do some work today, so far all she had done was go for a morning run, no ball , chasing . She was getting very bored.

Hammond smoothed his uniform and rang the bell, he had things he wanted to talk through with the captain, she had spent time as a fighter pilot which was a relief it meant that she likely did not have time to mince words and would appriciate direct.

“Come,” Freja called, looking up to see who was coming by.

Hammond stepped in the door, kilo glued to his side he moved to where the captain was and stopped, Kilo siting but still focused on Hammond. “Apologies Captain, I sent word to your Yeoman but Its been awhile since I sent the message and I thought it best that we meet, I hope this is not bad time,” he said extending his hand. Kilo looked at her and his hand and waited eyes clued to the Captain.

“Not at all, Colonel Hammond,” Freja rose and shook his offered hand, her dark eyes sliding slightly to Kilo, more to acknowledge the canine’s presence rather than anything else, “And Kilo right? To what do I owe this pleasure?”

Kilo’s head cocked sideways at the mention of her name, then looked at him and back to the Captain “I thought it best we meet face to face, get to know each other a little and get any expectations out so we can work together as efficiently as possible ” he said to her

“Excellent, as a rule I generally leave you to handle your marines as you see fit,” Freja replied, “If a member of my staff makes that job difficult, I expect you to let me know so that I can handle them, just as I would do the same in a reverse situation.”
