Lt. Burcham was sitting with a cup of coffee on the table beside his desk. His Padd was on the desk and he was reading up on the two new ensigns that had just boarded the ship. They arrived at two separate times, but they both arrived while he was on an away mission. So, now that he met with both of them one on one, he called all the security personnel to his office to meet face to face with all of them, and let the team meet each other and learn more about each other in an informal setting. He planned and was getting everything organized to go over what he expected from them, and how patrols around the ship would work, the schedule of assignments for the tactical/security console on the bridge, and the brig, when we needed it, and any questions they may have.

Scott was delighted when he had been summoned to the COS’s office. His arrival on the Chimera had been wonderful and was going smoothly, but he was beginning to feel need to get involved in some work. It would also be fantastic to meet the other security personnel aboard.
The door to COS’s office slid open and Gallahan stepped in.
“Ensign Gallahan reporting as ordered, sir”

To say Setsuna was nervous was an undertest, sure she had been to the academy and done everything everyone else had done. But what she worried about was her age. She was worried that people would look at her and not take her seriously or think she had help to get where she was. However now all she was thinking about was the invite to her DHs office. She had no idea what to expect but she had made sure that her uniform was spotless.

Scott nodded and smiled warmly as Ensign Fujioka walked in.

Nearing the COS’s office she took a deep breath and walked in once the doors had opened. She looked around the room and then at her COS and stood to attention “Ensign Setsuna Fujioka reporting as ordered” she said her tone respectful.

Gallahan waited before saying anything yet though, he would wait for the Security Chief to properly introduce them first.

A few more ensigns entered the office and sat down after greeting everyone in the room.
“Welcome to the meeting. Help yourself to any snacks or drinks. We have a few new faces added to our section since the last meeting, so I wanted everyone to get acquainted with each other.” Lt. Burcham stated. “I am Lt. Burcham, the Chief Security Officer, and this is Ensign Eleanor, you may call her Ellie.” He points to a dog laying comfortably on a doggie bed in the corner of the room. “For those who do not know, she has been trained in some security basics and can assist us in our duties around the ship. It was an initiative that started on the USS Constellation and I kept her to continue helping me when the Connie got decommissioned.” He continued. “Now, if you guys don’t mind, please introduce yourselves.”
