As slayer worked in the science lab on board he then went through a checklist that was given to him. He then started to mark down where things were. He noticed that an instrument was not in the right spot. He then wakes over to it and placed back to where it goes. He then started saying “okay things are back in order and back in place so it’ll help my department head out thank god.” He said so he went back to work and decided to do something else.

Ensign Slayer

Ella was going about her day, she had made it her mission to check in with every department and that included science. She had met a few of the science officers either during her travels or in the Mess Hall but the Ensign she currently saw was not one she recognised. “Excuse me” She called out trying not to scare him half to death as she walked into the lab, she seemed to be able to sneak up on most people which usually led to a mini-heartache. “I’m Lieutenant Lokaa, i’ve just arrived here so I am trying familiarise myself with the ship and crew.” She explained smiling at the man who seemed older than she was.

• Lieutenant JG Lokaa

“Oh. Hello Lt Lokaa. I’m ensign Alexander Slayer I’m the junior officer of science. Well at least one of them. How can I be in your service today?” He asked. The ensign look at the Lt wondering what is going on but then realizing she’s new on board and looking for people to familiarize herself and know the ship itself.

Ensign Slayer

She waved and gave him a polite smile before walking a little further into the room, “Oh nothing, in particular, I’m just walking around trying to familiarise myself with the ship and its crew.” Ella searched the room with her eyes looking at all the different station and ongoing experiments, or so she assumed ongoing. “So have you been on the ship long?”

As he kinda of started blushing a little. “No I haven’t Lt. I’ve been on here just for a few weeks. But I’m enjoying the ship. What about you Lt.” As he said what he said.

Ensign Slayer

She chuckled noting his blushing, it wasn’t unusual for people to react to her in the same way he was now, Elasians are typically extremely pretty that and bad ass warrior matriachs. “Ofcourse I’ve only been here less than a week, which is why I’m doing the round and seeing everything I can before I get to caught under the paperwork!”

“That’s sounds nice Lieutenant. I’m also so for blushing. I find you very attractive and someone who is a very nice and protective over people.”

Ensign Slayer

“Well thank you, Ensign, I find your comment very kind and generous.” She was used to similar behaviour and despite only being 24 had more than enough experience dealing with men and woman for that matter reacting in the same if not worst ways. By Elasian standards, she was average but to most humans, she tipped on the lucky side of the attractive scale. “So what are you working on? Anything interesting?” She asked remaining to her true nature of getting to know the crew.

“Oh nothing. Just getting the department area cleaned up before my Department Head comes in.” He replies. “I kind of figured that I should do that before anyone gets yelled at so that is what I’m doing here Lt. What about you. Just looking for new people to get used and getting to know each other?” He asked as he knew he can multitask.

Ensign Slayer

“Pretty much really, and please call me Ella unless other officers are around, truth is I’ve only recently been promoted and I thought I was coming here as assistant chief of security but apparently thier was a slight miscommunication. I’m not used to being anything but a normal Ensign security officer bit now I’m chief of security on an entire starship.” She noted he was in fact cleaning and decided to offer her help. “Is there anything I can do to help?”

“Oh um yeah sure. Thank you Ella. Alexander Alex for short.” As he actually lets her help. “I’ve never been able to get up in rank so I’m fine with that. But anyways yeah I’d love your help.”
