You know, aboard ships voices and gossip can travel FTL. Kai knew, the ship knew… and it was time to have fun with Oliver “Boy, if I had a girl like that I would not stand back… Right Ryley? You are my girl!” He played with the dog at fetch. Then tapping the badge it was time to move for the “plan” =/\= Ensign Oliver, here Lieutenant Kingstone, could you please come with a general analysis kit and a couple of Earthling Red Roses? We have a biological emergency on Deck 15 and Roses might be the key to everything… please hurry.=/\=
Closing the comm under the concealment of a brief giggle, Kai took the ball from Ryley’s mouth and throwed it over the aisle, waiting for Oliver to come.

Olly wearing his long doctor’s gown and goggles stood upright, the small chirp from his comm badge told him there was no longer a connection so more to himself than anyone, “Roses?” He placed down his tools and took for he extra thick gloves he had been wearing before making his way to the arboretum the Analytic kit already with him, the roses however were a different story. If he assumed the Lieutenant meant them for a woman of interest he would have to pick the perfect bouquet and being the go-to guy aboard the Atlantis for such arrangements he knew how to choose.

Leaving the Arboretum in haste holding the scientific equipment under one arm and the assortment of flowers in another, in which he had opted for a dozen deep crimson roses, Andorian blossom bud and Vulcan Lily pads in what he considered a very nice vase made his way hastily towards deck 15.

The walk didn’t take long and soon he found himself where he needed to be.

Runa was coming down the corridor from the other direction. She’d finished a long day teaching. About Pirates. She laughed softly. Apparently some of the children’s parents had seen her walking around in her Anne Bonny costume the week before. And with the current situation the children were all upset. The smallest ones thought the pirates were going to kidnap their teacher. She made a note not to wander the cooridores in costumes for the holodeck again. She saw a dog running after a ball. She shook her head and quickly turned down the corridor to her quarters before the cute four legged baby knocked her over. She stepped into her quarters got a glass of ice tea and sat down for the first moment of quiet she’d had all day.
