The ex-borg had arrived at sickbay and was waiting to begin his first medical check in. He stood at the lobby, waiting to be told where to go to start the process.

Ashlynn came out to the waiting room “Ensign have you been waiting long?” She asked and looked at Ember who was painting her nails “Seriously Ember, when we have a patient, you need to notify one of us immediately, not wait for your nail polish to dry.” She said firmly as the young woman who was chewing gum looked up at her and shrugged, her mother was another doctor on the ship and she had been given this assignment as punishment. She still didn’t know who everyone was or that the woman she had just shrugged off was indeed her boss. That would come after Ashlynn finished with Three of Five.

Ashlynn smiled at the former Borg “Please come with me.” SHe said leading the way back into main sickbay “I apologize for the wait. I’m Commander Summers, Chief Medical Officer. And you are?” She asked gesturing for him to sit on one of the empty bio beds as she picked up a tricorder and leaned against the adjoining bed to learn more about her patient beyond what she saw superficially.

“My name is Three of Five. I’m an ex-borg.” He told her as he followed her to the bio bed. He laid down on the bed. “I should warn you now, my implants are off, but if you hit the wrong button, and reactivate them, I can’t guarantee I won’t assimilate the ship.” He said, with a slight laugh to let her know he was just joking. “Nah, they can’t be reactivated to my actual knowledge.” He told her.
