After his shift in the science labs was over, Tyler anxiously made his way to the ready room, to meet with the Captain as asked. He had been pondering things all day long, and he was fairly certain he had made up his mind as to what his answer was going to be.

Inhaling and exhaling slowly, he rang the chime.

“Come,” Kelly said signing off on another document. She swore Ian had some secret agenda to give her carpal tunnel syndrome to stop her from being able to lift a coffee mug to her lips. Until she had taken command of the Atlantis, Kelly hadn’t signed this many documents in her life. Either Ian was that efficient or she was literally signing things she should not and might regret later. It would not be the first time a crew had slipped something into a pile of documents for the skipper to sign and ended up with a new phaser cannon, pool table, hot tub. The list was only limited by the crew’s creativity and the CO’s humor level.
