Having registered their presence, Jessica turned to Ryley. “Are you ready to go exploring, sir?” she asked, her tone absurdly polite. “I believe the captain wanted us to head to the trading district,” she continued.Ensign Lemann
Ryley who wasn’t sure if his med kit counted as a weapon or not adjusted his grip on his cane and leaned onto it. “Sure…I could use a new pair of shoes. Lead on MacDuff.” He said gesturing with his free hand and not the cane lest this be considered a threatening sort of behaviour.

MDThe mix of crowds and cleanliness was quite dramatic from section to section. Administration, Security, Medical levels were clean, orderly and for the most part quite. But as the crew moved to some of the other sections, food services, recreation, and trading levels the area became more cluttered, crowded, and frankly more dark. The Base itself was nearly a mile long which meant it had nearly a 100 miles of decks and storage area. Trades were done with both the material directly in front of the buyer and with pictures of the materials on display via electronics.
There were vendors that were announcing their wares, “Texcaran Wines!! Silk from Milurre!! Servants trained by the Master of Rabissh!!!” but most were quite behind signs or within store fronts.

Jessica glanced around the cluttered trading district as they made their way through it at Ryley’s slower place. The hustle and bustle briefly made her wish that she had thought to request a security presence with them, as the two doctors didn’t make a particularly formidable team. She peered at the vendors and then looked back at Ryley.
“Anywhere in particular you want to check out first? Maybe that place over there has clothing,” she said with a slight shrug, indicating a sign in the distance.

“I don’t know.” Ryley said looking around and glancing at the younger Doctor. “I kinda fancy seeing what the Servants trained by the Master of Rabissh are like…” He craned his neck and glanced back in the direction of that particular sign they had passed.
