The ships proximity alarm sounded as a huge wave of an unknown energy surged towards the Atlantis.

In Engineering, the crew worked feverishly to keep the ship’s systems online in the face of the impending wave. Engineers shouted information back and forth, directing technicians to reinforce critical components and activate emergency protocols. As the energy wave crashed into the ship, the entire room shuddered with the impact. Consoles sparked and sputtered, and alarms blared as systems strained to withstand the onslaught.

Try rerouting the tertiary command prompts through the shield matrix; they traverse the ship’s systems and might just provide the power surge we need to kickstart the generators to turn the lights on.” Frantically scanning the area for the chief engineer, he pressed on despite a large gash on his face, blood tracing a crimson path down his cheek. Reduced to little more than a giant tin can adrift in the void, the vessel faced pressures from every direction, threatening to crush it from the outside in. With only 45 minutes of breathable air remaining, the crew teetered on the brink of disaster.
