He sat heavily down again. : : : : : : “This season was slightly a let down to be honest.hence why we are still sober, not as fun or action packed or as long. Wait till you see season three though…oh boy.” He poured a cup and offered her the pot. : : : : : : Ryley : : : M.D. : : : : “Well, Jacen will probably be happy to not see me hungover again,” Relann said as she took the pot and poured herself a cup, adding just a little bit of milk. The cup was hot and soothing and honestly more welcome than the alcohol, of which she still had a buzz from. She was, at this point, quite relaxed. : : : : Fell-Drayke, XO : : Taking a gulp Ryley considered her. “How’s sparky doing anyway.” He asked : : Ryley : M.D. : : : : Relann smiled. “Good. I think now that all my drama is over it’s given us a chance to start finding our new normal. We had a good talk about boundaries and connections and making sure he was okay while I went about life as a Dy’allan does. I think we’re truly in a good place. Not one where we aren’t being truly honest with each other.” : : : : : : : : “I also went to Dianj…” she said with significance. : : : : : : : : Fell-Drayke, XO : : : : : : Ryley raised an eyebrow then sighed. “Of course you did.” He said and rolled his eyes. “ How’d that hippy dippy love fest go?” It wasn’t mocking as such just Ryley’s way of phrasing things. : : : : : : Ryley : : : M.D. : : : : Her smile turned into a smirk at the predictable turn of phrasing and tone. “Oh you know, got mad drunk and a wild night of sex,” she said straight-faced. : : : He pulled his hand to his heart. “I’m offended…I thought you said I was the only one to get you at your drunken stupor.” : : He dropped his hand. “Trust me Fell I have seen you mad drunk…you’re not in any fit state to snore let alone have wild sex.” He shook his head disappointedly. : : : Relann laughed. “Jacen has his boundaries and Dianj respects them. He’s my best friend and I do love him, but we’re more companions than anything truly romantic. No too unlike you and I, though I doubt we’d ever snuggle up together and chat for hours. Not our style,” she quipped before sipping more of her coffee. : : : : Fell-Drayke, XO : : I’m not the snuggling type. Cuddling… I wouldn’t mind but most of my companions don’t stay too long afterwards to do such a thing as after care. Besides it’s by the hour and I’m not made of latnium.” He sipped his coffee and looked at her. “I need a lot of play before.” He said nonchalantly as if that explained the last comment. : : Ryley : M.D. “I’m not sure I needed to know that,” Relann said casually before sipping on her coffee, though clearly wasn’t bothered by the details. In reality, she was a pretty open person and wasn’t easily shocked, not even by Ryley. At least not anymore. She’d spent enough time in his head that it was sort of impossible to be entirely shocked by the man anymore. But then again that was the brilliance of their friendship.

He smiled. “You totally needed to know that. Just in case of future blackmail needs if nothing else.”

: “So, next week, we start the next season. Might not get through the whole thing though.. Depends on my work schedule.”

He considered her and nodded. “Sure.” He said and frowning looked at his feet a second then up at her again still frowning. “While I remember, I was thinking…maybe next week we should do something with sparky and you and me…and the kid I guess…dinner maybe?”

He had considered how to say ‘it’s my sons birthday next week. I don’t know if I want to be alone will you guys keep me company’ for a few days now and the best he could come up with, that he said was. “It’s my annual social contact with more than one person night.”
