Main Sim - Sick Bay
Posted by Captain Kelly Shultz (Commanding Officer) in Main Sim - Sick Bay The computer chirped a negative response to his first ‘open the door’ command, and then again to the second command. The computer repeated the negative response tone until finally the acknowledgement tone replaced it, opening the door. The green gas above him began to flow out of the opened door, and the creature was temporarily distracted with the opened door as well - it skittered away from Sevot’s head and out into the hallway as more of the green gas flooded the room and hallway outside. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Gamemaster : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Sevot sighed heavily as he watched the bug head into the corridor. The Engineer still felt winded, but was managing to inch his way to the open door. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : =^=Medical Emergency Deck 2!=^= The Romulan chocked out over his comm. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Sevot : : : : : : : : : : : : Eng : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : =^=We’re on the way!=^= came a response from someone in sickbay. Sevot remained on the ground as the gas still flooded into the room and into the corridor. The creature walked around Sevot, always gearing up for attack but not quite lunging. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Minutes later two emergency medical personnel rushed into the room without any breathing protection - as if they didn’t notice the gas. The gravity crushing Sevot had no effect on them. The electrified bug creature danced around and made an awful, metallic screech, yet neither of the medics registered it as. “Ensign, what’s wrong? Can you describe your symptoms?” NE Clark asked as she pulled her tricorder probe out. “Can you move your legs?” : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : The second NE prepared a hover-stretcher in the open doorway, preparing to use it to take Sevot to sickbay. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Gamemaster : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : For the love of..... Jason thought to himself as he realized that he was the only one being affected. Everything seemed so real.... the gas, the locked doors, and the electric bug still dancing around him. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : “I…I can’t move!” The Ensign called out, still being crushed by the gravity. Even though the medical staff couldn’t see the gas it was still affecting the Romulan, with the Romulan coughing every so often. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Sevot : : : : : : : : : : Engineer : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : OOC: El Bumpo! : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : -Ray : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : NE Clark waved the probe closer to Sevot’s head and nodded - “Unusual activity in your prefrontal cortex,” she explained, “You’ll be alright, Ensign. We’ll bring you to sickbay. Help me?” she asked, speaking to the second NE. Despite the gravity Sevot felt, the two medics were easily able to lift him into the hover-stretcher. =^=Clark to Sickbay - medical emergency, three to beam directly to sickbay.=^= : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Moments later Sevot and the medics were transported to Sickbay. The unusual sensation of heavy gravity was gone from the Romulan, but the sensations left from the gas remained. =^=Clark to Dr. Ryley - Doctor, we have a medical emergency that may need your attention. Ensign Sevot is showing signs of unusual neural activity and we believe he’s hallucinating,=^= the NE reported. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Gamemaster : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Ryley for his part did what Ryley did best, took in the report and made a jerky remark. =^= Ask him if he took the fun hypo or the not so fun hypo and how much.=^= : : : : : : : : : : : : : : He picked his cane up and limped out of his office towards the transport site. “Well what happened?” He asked as he surveyed the trio. He opened his own tricorder, battered and heavily modified as it was, and ran a scan of his own. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Ryley : : : : : : : M.D. : : : : : : : : : : : : Jason felt a sense of relief when he no longer felt the pressure of the gravity, but the Romulan continued to cough. “How did you not.....cough.... see that damn bug!” He called out too the two medical officers that retrieved him. : : : : : : : : : : : : He was aware that the two weren’t able to see the green gas that was pouring from the life control room, but how didn’t they see the electric bug? : : : : : : : : : : : : Sevot : : : : : : Engineer : : : : : : : : : : A slight twitch of his eyebrows was all Ryley gave as the medics moved the coughing engineer onto the main biobed. As it calibrated for the patient Ryley looked at him. “You want to explain what you saw?” He asked and clicked his fingers for a triox hypo. : : : : : : : : : : Ooc: readings ? :) : : : : : : : : : : Ryley : : : : : M.D. : : : : : : : : Jason turned his head towards the CMO. “After the Commander’s episode on the Bridge, I saw odd readings on deck 2, so I went down to environmental controls to check things out.” The Romulan explained. “Once inside, the door locked and I was immediately pushed down to the floor and there was extreme pressure holding me down.” Ensign Sevot added. : : : : : : : : : : Ryley listened. “Pressure where? All over, on your chest, your limbs?” He continued his scan then taking the triox hypo from an NE tilted Jasons head away gently to expose his neck before he administered it. : : : : : : : “After a few seconds, green gas started flowing down from the top of the room while a bluish bug that was made of electricity started for me.” : : : : : : : : Sevot : : : : Eng : : : : : : Ryley blinked at him, “A blueish bug…made of electricity…” he repeated and looked at the medics who had attended the scene. “ and none of you saw any of this I take it?” : : : : : : Turning his attention back to Jason Ryley checked the oxygen levels of his patient and detaching the hand scanner ran the device across the mans head. “What reading should did you see?” : : : : : : Ryley : : : M.D. : : : : “There was a power drain in that deck, just after the Exec had her episode.” The Romulan said, trying to sit up. “At first I thought it was a malfunction in the eps relays....but once I hit the ground....” The Engineer coughed a few more times, but less intense as the past ones. : : : : “It was like gravity was holding me down....” : : : : Ens. Sevot : : ENG : : bump :) Without looking away from the readings Ryley reached a hand over and firmly pushed the engineer down again. “ No, we don’t move while Doctor is examining.” He said absently as he frowned at the readouts. “Has the pressure passed?” Ooc: really need readouts Kevin ^_^ Ryley MD“Besides your hand on my chest....., yes.” The Ensign grunted. Jason didn’t know what to think. On one hand, he could be going crazy, and on the other, there could have been a lack of oxygen in the control room.

Ryley shhed him, “oh grow up I’m not pushing you that hard.” He frowned and removing his hand watched the readouts further. “Sit still and I won’t need to man Handel you will I.” He presses his fingers into the pulse point on the Engineers wrist. “ Now…tell me again what you think you saw?”
