Location: random corridor, on route to turbolift.

After hurrying out of sickbay, he found himself calming down. He walked steady towards a turbolift and entered once he arrived. The door closed and he spoke to the computer “Main Engineering”.......

“Hold the turbo,” Kelly yelled down the hall carrying a large box in her hands. It only took a few seconds for her to close the gap between hollering her request and settling in next to the man beside her. “Thanks,” she said leaning back against the wall.

Taking a glance at the man beside her she instantly recognized the yellow shirt but not the man wearing it. “Where are you headed Ensign,” she asked as the floors ticked off one by one on the screen in front of them.

Ottum held the door as the woman yelled, he smiled as she entered. Then leaned on the wall before seeing her captain’s pips and immediately straighten up....”Main Engineering, I am Ensign Ottum Rule, new Junior engineer, Sir”

He was nervous meeting the captain for the first time.

“Engineering,” Kelly said happily nodding. “Ensign Ruke, you are exactly the person I need today.” The doors to engineering opened as if on cue but Kelly instantly called out. =/\=Shuttle Bay Deck 12=/\=. The doors shut and the turbo headed down to it’s intended location.

“So you may or may not know but the engineering chief is on vacation. While he was gone I came up with an idea,” Kelly said as the doors opened and she exited the turbo. “Ensign… with me,” Kelly requested not sure if the young officer knew to follow her or not.

Ensign Ruke followed the captain. “No I was unaware he was away. “

He continued following..unsure of what exactly the captain wanted.

IC: Entering the main shuttle bay, Kelly walked over to a shuttle. Sparks arched off of one panel as the technician worked on it. Most of the shuttle maintenance crew was familiar with shuttle 69421 so no one worked on the ship without protective gear. “Problems,” Kelly asked the crewman.

“Nah,” replied NE Osvif Sigbrandsson as he pulled off the padded electrical gloves. “She always gets a bit touchy when we start poking around on her consoles.”

“Got another pair of those gloves,” Kelly asked NE Osvif. The man nodded a bit skeptically but handed them over. “Okay, Ensign Ruke I want you to attach this nameplate to that shuttle and log it in the records. I am changing all the names of the shuttles to something more appropriate.” The metal nameplate simply stated THE ODINSON. OSvif gave Kelly a strange look to which she promptly replied, “she shocks you every time to touch her. Electrical currents…lightening....shouldn’t be that big of a stretch,” she answered. Turning back to Ruke she continues speaking. “Okay, so when you are done with this one move on the rest of the ships down the list. If you have any issue contact my yeoman Lt. Bordeaux.”

Ottum nodded to the captain, he looked at the other officer then at the job ahead, “Very well, that seems easy enough” he looks at the various new names “May I enquire to why you chose these names?”
