OOC: okay. My character can wait. ~Dan

OOC Thanks for your patience my friend.

OOC: Alright, Ian. While you answer Jones’ scans, could you also include a small description of the scene Liam’s walking in on?

OOC Done, this may help too http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/File:Guardian_of_Forever,_2267.jpg

Liam walked in silence, the effort to talk wasn’t there. In automatic, he followed the XO toward the Guardian. Upon arriving, his eyes flickered to Jones and acknowledged the man’s presence. Liam noticed that Joseph was still missing, but placed his worry in a small compartment and stored away for the future.

There was a definite sense of presence around the Guardian of Forever. It sat in the middle of what looked for all the world like the ruins of a Greek or Roman city. Broken pillars lay around in disarray with the Guardian brooding over the dusty remnant like a relic of bygone days. It’s rough squashed donut shaped form pulsed with energy and the images playing in fast forward over it’s surface were very disconcerting. Approaching it was like approaching high voltage power lines, there was something undefinable in the air, something alive.

The initial scans brought back a very surprising and recognize-able result, high levels of silicon and low level energy readings. Jones would instantly recognise that the Guardian’s outer shell had the same chemical markers that the strange painting they had been studying had had, almost identical in fact.

The Guardian’s commanding voice spoke up. “What is it you seek?”

Gamemaster Conspiracy Theorist (GMT)

When the Guardian’s voice appeared to rumble through the ruins, Liam paused abruptly. Immediately sarcasm laced his thoughts at wanting answers, but kept his mouth shut. He had the impression the being before him didn’t either understand or take kindly to rudeness. Rather than saying anything, Liam’s eyes shifted to Jones to see if he had more information than the CSO himself.

Dan noticed his DH giving him a look that seemed expectant. Talking in a low voice directly to the CSO Dan said, “You remember that stone we had on Athena? This arch has almost identical chemical markers that the paintings did”.

Dan then contemplated the question the Guardian posed. Dan was grateful for his low rank as he figured no one would expect him to converse with it.

Adam nodded, “Lieutenant Madison you are I charge here ket me know if you need anything to assist you that we might have.”

Liam nodded at Jone’s statement. However, he didn’t find the information as helpful as he would’ve liked. The stone had some connection to the painting, but it still left so many questions running through his head. During this whole event, Liam found the main thing he sought was answers. Answers to any questions in regards to the people involved and how it all lead up to this. Most of all, he wanted to know how it could be fixed or prevented in order to realign the correct timeline.

He stilled his mind before noting what the XO said.

Liam chuckled softly and bitterly, “Well considering I’ve been in complete dark about the series of events that destroyed the Athena, any guidance would be helpful. I know what I want to say, but it might do more harm than good.”

“You know Chief” Dan said addressing the CSO, “I’d feel better if we had some names for things. The name of this guardian and the name of this structure we’re at”.

Ensign Dan Jones (Scientist)

“Best I can tell we are but windswept prawns I someone else bloody war, and we needed to be cleared from the field. Neither side knows our role in this game. This place is the Gaurdian of forever the balance of time and space, no wrong questions just but certain you understand the answers before you act on them.” Adam stated and paused to see if Madison had a follow on query. “I myself can not step through till the realignment as I am part of a current causality variance. You could to anytime anywhere.”

Adam watched the Science department get started with the work before he moved on to his next stop for an update. The triage was setup, next to check in with Engineering. He did not want to interrupt the defensive planning of the Tactical officer, and Chief of Security yet, he assumed when the time came he could insert himself into the plan as a shooter and just do his job
