: : : : Having spent some time with Q, Stark shouldn’t have been stunned by what he was witnessing but in truth he was a little. So he was the answer to the panther and Janna was the mirror to the wolf. Stark nodded in appreciation of the symmetry. He loved animals of all shapes and sizes, but if the guy and his pets made a move, someone was getting shredded. Stark crouched angling his spine for maximum spring and waited for Orvos’ lead.

: : : OCC: I didn’t word it right, but as the group is facing this unknown man, to the groups right, the man’s left is the Panther. On the opposite side is the wolf.

: : : IC: The Man replied to Orvos’s threat. “I don’t know who or what your Federation is, nor do I care. I just want my wife back, give her to me, NOW! He exclaimed, “Or more of your precious citizens will die, starting with you.” He raised his bow slightly, the flame on it’s tip growing brighter. The Wolf barked and growled again.

Okay, this was getting weirder and weirder, but Jann was cautiously alert. She knew better than to panic and used all of her training to stay calm and focused, especially on the man and the cues he was giving whether he realized it or not.
: : Orvos faltered for a moment. It all felt familiar, but he didn’t understand how. It was off. Familiar, yet wrong. What the bloody hell is going on? he thought.
: :
: : “I don’t have your wife,” he said calmly, his demeanor relaxed. He gestured around him. “Where would I keep her? And show yourself! Who are you?”
: :
: : Orvos was more puzzled than ever, especially with his sense out of whack.

: The panther hissed, his back end moving slowly as he prepared to pounce.
:
: “Don’t play dumb him me, she is standing next to you.” He raised his bow and pulled back on sting. The fire on the arrow grew larger. “Let her go, NOW.”
:
: -Side sim GMIt took Janna a couple long moments to clue into what the man was saying and her green eyes widened. Wife. She was the only one who could match that description- he meant her! “Uhhh, I’m no one’s wife. Trust me, I’d know,” Janna said defiantly. “I am with them willingly and they are my friends,” she added, her tone more gently and her eyes fixed on the man with the bow and arrow.

The time for diplomatic strategy was closing. They were bent on starting something. Orvos took the moment to attach a circular device to his right temple. After doing so, his drone appeared before him out of his wrist device and stayed mid air on standby.
“She’s not your wife, and she’s not going with you. So, unless you have some sort of other business to attend to, it may be best to leave.”
Orvos had a feeling a fight would ensue and so his he prepared for the inevitable. His drone was already powered up and targeting the man’s waistline, specifically his belt. Comical move? Perhaps. But advantageous if the man’s pants were to come down and tie up his feet’s movement and drop his sword to the ground. And he knew he would only have on shot. Orvos was an engineer at heart, but he wasn’t completely defenseless without his technology. He had some extensive training in hand to hand combat, and sword play. It came with the centuries spent with his best friend Dawson, who had studied his whole life to be a fighter and strategist.
