With his medical now out of the way, Torvin smiled as he stood outside the office of the Counsellor. He staightend his uniform tucked the PaDD to his side and pressed the chime. Truth was he had things he liked to keep tabs on but found it hard to find someone who really understood where he was comming from. The amount of waste the starfleet flaunted hurt his soul little by little, and he often need to talk to someone if for no other reason that to vent.

Brenna was barely settled into her office. Geri, Fekri, and Fenris were curled up on their beds behind her desk. It would take them time to adjust to their new routine, but they were smart and easy going.

The office was still plain and utilitarian. At least there was comfortable seating. Brenna would get around to making the space more hers in the coming weeks. Fekri rumbled right before the chime sounded. “Good boy,” Brenna said before calling out, “Come in!” She moved over to the door to greet her visitor with a smile. “Please come in. I’m Counselor Atoded.”

Kelas took notice of the dogs and smiled for a brief moment. “Lieutenant Torvin” he said stepping through the the door. “New here as well?” he asked looking around the rather bare office. He was not sure where to go. “I could use a drink of water if that’s ok?” he asked.

“Nice to meet you, Lt. Torvin.” Brenna laughed, “That obvious?” She stepped back from the door, “I am. Please have a seat anywhere. It’s a bit plain in here I’m afraid. I’ll get that water.”

She turned toward the replicator on the near wall. A moment later she turned back to him and walked over, handing him a glass of water. “You are here for your on boarding?”

“I am” he said looking around for a place to sit, there was not much in the room and he was not sure where she wanted him to sit. “If your not ready I can come back” he noted deciding to step over to where she was getting the water.

“Oh no, not at all.” She offered him the water and then waved toward two chairs near the window. “Shall we sit? Where were you posted before the Wolverine?”

He looked at her guessing she had not had time to review his information. “The Archeron actually” he said taking the glass of water. Sitting next to the window he crossed his leggs and waited for her to take her seat. It took a long draw of water and waited.

Brenna didn’t like to read files before she met someone. Unless there was a reason or incident where that previous information was needed. For onboarding appointments, unless there was a flag, she liked to get to know people first and not have her perception clouded. “I’m not familiar with the Archeron,” she said as she sat down across from him. “Did you enjoy it there?”

He smiled, ‘It was a ship, patrol cruiser, so I was constantly having put bandages on things to keep her flyin” he smiled broadly. “I guess that’s what I do” he noted. She seemed nice enough interested in what he was saying, that was good he never seemed to make friends, thouht that was more his own doing than anything else. He neer really felt like speaking unless there was actually something to say. Small talk was not his thing. He was more than comfortable sitting silently in a room full of people no one saying a word.

“Oh my, so the Athena must be a huge difference for you. The mythology class is just too big I think. A starbase with warp drive.” She laughed, “So what made you take a transfer?”
