Good evening Athena crew!

Your command staff has been busy behind the scenes. With the decommission of the Memorial here in STF, we are bringing aboard those crew members able to transfer over. As of now, our Security and Medical departments are much fuller now! Hjortur and Rusty, you two now have your hands full. We will have one more member joining soon, but still ironing some details.

For now, lets all welcome D Grisham (med), AJ Paulson (sec), Charles Landers (sec), and Chris Taylor (sec) to the crew! Rusty is currently our COS but also decided to bring over his medical personnel aboard the Memorial. And, fun fact: Chris Taylor is a former CO of the Athena!

Everyone from the Memorial, feel free to create a thread where you all are aboard a shuttle bound for the Athena. This will take place pre-sim. If you can make that apparent in the title of the thread somewhere, that would be great. For now, let’s get all of your pre-sim threads rolling while we work on finding a place for you in the sim. :)

And this is for everyone: If you are on discord, let’s join the Athena channel in the STF server! We are looking at doing some semi-regular events with everyone on the ship. More details to come.

Welcome all! It’s going to take me a bit to see how and where I can fit people into the sim. Currently there are places to help, but not so many that everyone will have something to do, expecially since we’re later on in the sim. But that could change! We’ll see how it goes.

There’s a sim summary on the MOTD and I will post an update to it since things have progressed a bit.

As a general note, I ask that any new main sim thread have Main Sim in the title. It makes it easier to me to find. Also, please DO NOT tag ALL in threads. There are secondary characters and those that are not involved in your threads and it’s just courteous (and less overwhelming for others) if the tags they have in their notifications are for threads they need to reply to. or are important for them to keep up with. I will happily read other threads (and I do!), but an overwhelmed Linds is a Linds that struggles to post. So help me (and others on the ship out). Thank you! :)
