=^= Casefile 6202-01-17 The Adventure of the Anatomical Anomalies; Lead Investigator: Sterling, Oliver W. Sterling, Reporting =^=
=^= I now find myself outside the realm of the Physicker, Lieutenant Benjamin Grey. The air here smells of antiseptic and suppressed screams. My informant claimed the Doctor could help. It makes sense! If the commbadge was ‘dead’, who better to revive it than a doctor? I shall present the corpse of my device to him and demand he perform a miraculous resurrection! And perhaps, while I am there, I shall inquire about a preventative inoculation against ectoplasm. =^=
Oliver burst into Sickbay 1 on Deck 12, the doors swishing open to reveal a sickbay full of medical staff and crewmembers, Oliver remained standing and looking around and waited to be seen.
“Greetings, Sawbones, I am here to consult with
Dr. Grey please point me in his direction post haste! It is a matter of utmost urgency.”Oliver W Sterling + Security + Athena

Two filled-in pips on his collar. He looked to be in his late thirties, early forties. He dismissed the nurse he was speaking with, exasperation on his face, as he walked over to the young Security officer “I am Doctor Grey” His soft Scottish accent a little clipped, he did not enjoy chaos in his sickbay, and the title of sawbones seemed to personally irritate him “What is the problem?”

“Oh Doctor Grey, Sir,” Oliver said, in a slightly tragic tone of voice, “my combadge … is no more …” he pulled out his silken ‘kerchief and laid it out on a surface in sickbay, he unwrapped it, displaying the components of his combadge, “I was trying to get one of the ghosts on the ship . It had infected my combadge, and while my visual accuity was enough to see the ghost, my reflexes were not quick enough to stop it. I’ve been awaiting an urgent summons from Captain Legen. with no commbadge, he could not, unfortunately, contact me to arrange my welcome on board meeting.”
“So, my commbadge, Sir,” Oliver said, motioning towards the components, “is there you can do for my commbadge so that the captain can contact me. I know he’ll be frantic with worry.”
Oliver took a fresh grip on his cane. “A helpful crewmember told me I should see the psyker and the medicants if I’ve been seeing ghosts and wrecking equipment to get the help I so desperately and obviously need. So, Dr Grey, Sir, can I get my commbadge restored to functionality and an innoculation against ectoplasm.”
