The away team reappeared in the transporter bay, missing one. The NE behind the controls tapped his combadge =/\=The away team is back. Most of them. But I lost Lt. Ducante’s pattern. I’m sorry sir.=/\=

Janna felt herself fully materialize and heard the transporter operator’s words. She stepped off the pad and looked around before turning back to the NE. “What do you mean he’s been lost?”

IC: As the alert about the explosion near the away team came through, Charlie instinctively grabbed her medkit and sprinted to the transporter room. She barrelled through the door to the transporter room with her medical tricorder poised. “Is everyone alright?” She asked, catching her breath. “Was anyone injured in the explosion?” She added, quickly taking a look round the team for any obvious injuries.

The Chief Engineer was holding two people; one the Doctor would recognize and the other was obviously from the ‘settlement’. He set Kingston down and said “Take a look at her, Doc. I may have been a little overzealous when I grabbed her.”He then set their tour-guide down and locked eyes with them. “Care to explain yourself before I turn you over to Security? Attempted murder of Star Fleet officers carries a lot of years in the penal colonies.”

“Oops.” she responded, smiling sickeningly.

“Fair enough.” Hammor replied. He tapped his badge and said “Commander Hammor to Security. I have a suspect in custody. Send four security escorts to move her holding. And bring restraints.” There was an acknowledgement from Security and Daggum looked at the Transporter Chief. “Scan for him. Can you figure out where he went?”

Janna stood there in disbelief and shook her head, waving her hand. “I’m fine. Any bruising won’t be life threatening,” she said, knowing that even a small injury would require attention in Sickbay, just in case. She looked at Daggum and Serena. “Ducante is still alive,” she said adamantly. “I know he is.” It wasn’t as strong a sense as she would have preferred but it was more than just intuition. It was something she felt in the fibre of her being.

Charlie smiled warmly, knowing that most officers in Kingston’s position would say the same thing. “Well just for my peace of mind, would you humour me?” She asked gently, waggling her tricorder before leaning in and whispering. “I promise, no sickbay unless something is broken or hanging off…” she added quietly just for Janna’s ears.
