The door closed behind Faye as she followed Orvos inside. She fixed her stormy grey-green eyes on the captain. “What’s up?” Faye saw no need to be anything other than her blunt self in this moment.

Orvos turned to face heras he fought the temporal sickness. “The Shai is what’s up. You mentioned classified information. And while I respect and try to honor starfleet protocol, I am also able to realize when such instances must be bent. We need information that can get us and the Shai free of this phenomenon.”

It was a poignant statement on his part. He had no desire as of yet to order her to release information. But it was clear, he hoped, what he was insinuating.His eyes never left hers.
