Hey everybody. I’m really sorry for being gone for so long. I wanted to explain and to give you a timeline for my return.

My wife has had some serious and sudden medical issues arise, and dealing with that has been a nightmare unlike anything I have ever had. Between insurance refusals, lab work, pre-surgery workups, the entire family getting the flu, having to go to a different state just to get the surgery done, and so on; we have been under the gun for a while now. But we have (hopefully) turned the corner and she will be having surgery next week. Once that is done, relief for her should be almost immediate with a few weeks to fully recover. That is where things stand. I am hoping by week after next to be able to resume posting and getting caught up everywhere.

I really appreciate all of you being patient and understanding. The messages I have received have been most welcome and supportive, and I really appreciate all of you more than you know. Thank you for your understanding.

That definitely sounds no fun! I’m sorry you and your family are going through this, but it’s good to know that things are looking up! We are definitely looking forward to your return. I’m praying everything goes well for your wife’s surgery.

You don’t need to apologize for something out of you or your wife’s control. Real life has its twists and turns, which can toss our lives into chaos. I’m happy it’s gradually getting better and that your family will be able to return to some normal routine soon. My best wishes goes out to you all that it remains positive.
