Baumann made his way into Sickbay and stepped to the side. He was dressed in civilian attire, and leaned against the wall. As a nurse passed by, he caught her attention with a gesture. “Good afternoon. I am Commander Baumann. I’d like to speak to the Chief Medical Officer and get my onboarding physical complete. Either order, doesnt matter.” and he smiled slightly.Baumann, Intel
The small sickbay couldn’t hide the redheaded Scotswoman and her peculiar habits, in the back of the room she could be seen sitting on the floor, both legs hanging across her head, her usual crooked smile and glassy expression as she looked up at the ceiling. Doctor Blackwell, one of three Medical officers on the Bonnie looked back and pointed the German to her “Just don’t ask what she’s doing, NE Stiles was stuck listening to a two-hour lecture on the necessity for flexibility” The Mustachioed NE said with a polite smile.

Wulf nodded and said “I have known the good doctor before this. I am aware of her… eccentricities.” and he walked into the space.
Coming up to her… position… he looked down and smiled. “Doctor. It is certainly good to see you again. Commander Baumann, now the ship’s Intelligence Officer, reporting for my onboarding physical.”

Rachel didn’t look at the former Armory Chief and first officer. She simply smiled and started moving her legs away from her head and standing up. Although she was slightly taller than the already ridiculously tall German she was far sleeker. She smiled a toothy grin and hugged the man, unusual as they had not been close before “Good to see you Commander” She immediately removed herself and half skipped across the room, grabbing a scanner from a tray “Sit, sit. I heard ye went all spook, honestly thought that sounded absolutely ridic” She pointed to an examination bed nearby “Go on”

He returned the embrace and whispered “Its good to see you, and be seen, again.” and then followed her directions. “And yes. I was given the opportunity to… expand my credentials, as it were. So I did, and here I am.” and he smiled slightly and inclined his head.

“Sit.” she said maintaining her usual smile and absentmindedly pointing at the bed “Well it was good to hear you healed well from your injuries” She said opening the top of her standard medical scanner and starting the scan cycle “I have to admit I’m a bit surprised they’re sending us an Intelligence officer, I wasn’t aware Starfleet Intelligence had any infrastructure outside Earthspace”

OOC: His injuries were: 4 broken ribs on the left side, 3 on the right, collapsed lung, compound fracture of the left femur, concussion, ocular fracture right side, internal bleeding, and multiple contusions / lacerations.
There is no visible or scan evidence of those injuries.
IC: Baumann sat as directed. “Up until about one and a half years ago, you would be correct. Command decided to take a more… proactive… approach to intelligence and coordination thereof. All new ships will have an Intelligence office aboard from here on. Existing vessels will be staffed as personnel become available. My background aboard here was seen as a benefit… although I am not certain that was a correct assumption on their part.” and he smiled slightly.

Rachel gave the distinct impression that she was impressed as she viewed the results on her scanner “Well if that’s what it takes to have you back, Commander I think it’s all well and good” She closed the scanner and tossed it to the side, hitting a tray with a loud clang “You must have had some pretty good surgeons ‘cuz I don’t see any evidence of your injuries” Her eyes had the slight of someone eager “I’d love to get my hands on those medical logs someday. But in any case, yer fighting fit, as they say, you can tell the Cap’n that I’m clearing ye fer duty.”
Dr. Grey - CMO
Baumann inclined his head and said “Efficient and to the point as always, Doctor. If I did not know better, I would say you were German.” and he winked and stood up. “Thank you for your time. I look forward to working with you again.” and he inclined his head again and made his way to the door.
