The ‘delegates’ moved into the fleet pod. They had different reactions to it, though they were silent for the most part. Dal’s group were wide eyed at the surfaces and, while it was not exactly roomy there with them, it looked so much newer and advanced than anything that they had. The others, Naro Kis, put on an air of gruff indifference, though even his eyes could be seen to look impressed.

They took their seats and, though tight, had an air of wonder at what they might see next.

Baumann took the pilot’s seat and powered up the pod.Activating the comms, he said [O] Baumann to Bonaventure. Delegates are settled and we are en route. Respectfully request Captain Bovar and Chief Science Officer’s presence upon arrival. Please have Marine delegation ready to assist Sphere City shuttle and it’s occupants. [O] he said and then maneuvered the pod towards the exit.

Meanwhile, the other shuttle, Naro Kis’ from Sphere City was the shuttle for most of the crew left. It, on the other hand, was a different story. It looked like they were inside a hive where the shell of the shuttle was a dull grey metal, patched here and there. A central spine looked to almost sprout seating that went in a 360 circle along the spine, holding approximately 6 seats in that circle. They were interspersed with stations that were surrounded by consoles, levers and more, with the operators there wearing a kind of flight helmet and ribbed suit. In the far forward space was what looked to be the pilot area where the spine split into three ribs that were attached to the hull. In those three were settled seats, two of which had the cluttered patchwork consoles while the third looked to be the pilots. The seats were old and had seen much repair and work and refurbishment. The air had a stale taste that was part machine oil and centuries of people being jammed in there.

As Baumann chimed in, she smiled. Answering his comm, she then nodded to Allison. [O] Copy that, Baumann. We’ll be there. And we’ll see that the rest are taken care of. [O]

When Naomi entered the shuttle, her eyes widened a bit. Her surprise wasn’t at how different it was, but rather how… patched it appeared. The metal of different varieties was easy to spot during her path into the shuttle itself. This knowledge made her uncomfortable as she found a seat. She made sure to take one closest to the spine. It was logical that it was the strongest structure within the ship based on the fact it held everyone’s seat to the inside. She also avoided sitting near any patched sections if she could help it.
