Rachel followed the group staying the correct distance behind the main combat officers she knew where her place in a firefight was and it wasn’t standing on point but somewhere she could reach everyone as fast as, what was in her case, humanly possible.
Dr. Grey - CMO
El glanced back and saw Dr Grey. She moved like a soldier, though El herself certainly wasn’t one. She had, however, seen many in action - albeit training action. This was her first ‘encounter’ with these experiences and, while it was something utterly new, stressful and nerve wracking another part of her reveled in this adrenal rush and real danger. It was the hurry up and wait portions that bothered her when she wanted to just act. And what was it with their folklore and the aliens who had been there just days earlier to their North? What did they represent in this mystery? El certainly did not want to be stuck here in this planet and space so she hoped that somewhere in this mess that there was an answer to clearing that spatial interference to allow them to go to warp and leave. She had no idea how they could possibly help these people here beyond just a few. It seemed so small a thing compared to a world that was in disarray. She frowned, her wrist braced on the dumpster with her targets in view waiting for the order to fire.
- El, EngIsaac had already fixed his scope up for distance, wind and bullet drop his scope was zeroed in and he had a good shot lined up. He was Abel to find the head officer of the group and will take out any one in rank.
=^= is everyone in position I am about to make my first shot the egg head will not last any more =^= Isaac had his finger to the side of the trigger and undid the safety.
Lt. Isaac Black (AC)
Ari had agreed that the Doc with them was a good idea. The woman had been asked to stay behind with the linguist. Her own people she trusted in the coming situation, the civilian from the planet was a wild card she didn’t have time to suss out. Once everyone claimed their readiness, she shook her head. [O]Everyone ready, I hate to, but let’s take those guards out. That man is our information link,[O] I hope she muttered under her breath, [O]Let’s get him out of there. On my mark…[O] She paused a moment to take aim as well. [O]NOW![O]
She watched, as her own shots were fired at the middle soldier, and the other soldiers were also attacked.

Isaac squeezed his trigger and the leading Officer hit the ground. He has time to shot perfectly to fire at the same time the captain fired so his cover was still intact he lined up another shot. He aimed and squeezed the trigger again.

El was not as ‘versed’ as Isaac and as precise on timing as the Captain, but she was quick and she had been waiting for the go ahead. Her targets were anyone near the injured man. She knew they were trained soldiers; the last bunch they encountered reacted quickly. She was intent to be faster this time around in her firing and not let them find cover. Before she had not considered them reacting but simply surprised that they were getting shot. El didn’t take that for granted now and planned not just to fire at targets but had a field of view with which to allow her to target anyone who fled inside that - at least those who didn’t drop right there. “We’re coming for you,” she said softly as she fired, though whether that was for the injured man or the soldiers was a mystery.
El, EngOOC: I’m going to assume you just had your phase pistols on stun :P since no one mentioned one way or another
In quick succession the phase pistols whined and their lancing pulse shots struck the MacArm soldiers. With thuds the stunned soldiers dropped to the ground. The badly beaten up ESD officer blinked looking about raggedly, then it seems his injuries took the fight out of him and he slumped to the ground passing out.
Like so much that is ‘fun’ or, in this case, dramatic excitement, it seemed to be over almost before it began. As the MacArm soldiers fell she paused, now targetless, and watched the other soldier slump. “Doctor!” she called out as El herself ran from around the dumpster, phase pistol in hand just in case, and toward the fallen soldier. Her eyes scanned the MacArm soldiers. She was torn between attending the man beaten up whom she admired for taking that beating, and making sure that the others were truly out. And disarmed.
When the landing party go there they could indeed confirm the ESD officer was male, and was still alive, though showed a lot of internal injuries. He needed immediate medical aide ideally on the ship’s sickbay or some other proper medical facility. While he had the similar traits of other locals to this planet being more hearty and such compared to humans that only would keep him alive for so long from the battering he had taken.

Looking back to make sure the doctor was on her way El moved to disarm the MacArm soldiers just in case the stun didn’t ‘take’ quite as effectively as she would like.
Then, with her other hand she flipped out her scanner. What was happening in the comms circles and where was the ‘enemy’ now? She was curiously aware of her mentally taking sides but dismissed it.
- El, EngOOC: Hey Rob, the prior soldiers that we downed, were they MacArm or where they locals? Just trying to get a bead on whether we are equal opportunity rescuers or not :)
OOC: The previous folks you took out were also MacArm that were attacking the mother and daughter.
Checking in on comms didnt reveal any notice of their activities yet past or present. So far they were lucky but how long would their luck last?
