There was the faintest whisper of a squeeze on her hand, but no other real sign of response. The man was still quite out of it mostly.

Jonathan had followed along behind Atozi and Fleet, keeping an eye on the surrounding area. Hopefully they would have enough time before anyone came investigating the crash.

As he kept his eyes moving, he had his scanner out, looking for any potential locals coming there way.

Cmdr. McKnight - XO

Scanner checks showed no signs of locals moving their way within a 1/2 mile radius. They were effectively alone for now.

Tucking the scanner back into his pocket, Jonathan moved up to where Atozi and Fleet were with the pilot.

“As soon as he is stable enough to move, we need to get back under cover. We are too much out in the open here right now, and we don’t know if those other fighters will be coming back with reinforcements.”

Atozi was working to stabilise the pilot already, she’d fashioned a splint to keep his legs together out of some ship parts and fabric. “Unless we get him back to somewhere to be treated I’m only prolonging his life,” She said doing another scan to ensure what she had been doing was working. He was alive for now, and was responding but that could change any seconds. “He’s in no position to answer any questions either but he is responsive.”

The second scan confirmed much of what the first showed, though it also showed this humanoid had strong recuperative healing properties as already his heart rate and state of being was growing stronger. He probably would be conscious in a half an hour or so if not sooner at this rate.

She continued to make the pilot as comfortable as possible, they could improvise a stretcher out of the wreckage if they needed too. She was intrigued by how his body had already started to heal much quicker than what a Human or Andorian might. Either way the needed to move for more than one reason she knew. Her blue eyes set to the Commander as she waited for his orders.

Fleet helped with wrapping the legs in the splint.

“Well Atozi, we can’t take him back with us, and who knows what sort of help we will be able to find here. So you are the best he’s got.”

Jonathan looked over towards where the other half of the team was going through the fighter wreckage.

“I’m going to check in on the other half of the group. See if you can make up a quick litter, so we can take him with us.”

Nodding towards them, he took off at a jog towards the other group.

“Great” Atozi said muttering under her voice as she finished the bandaging, she stepped back and assessed the situation she’d done enough to keep him alive for now and with his advanced healing they might be able to speak to him soon until then it was up to her to make his recovery as comfortable as possible. She began looking in the immediate area for something she could use as a stretcher and found the ripped charred remains of the canvas he had used to jump form the sky. There was still a large portion left. She ripped the Canvas and then folded it in half so it would offer a kind of hammock for the pilot. she moved back to him and laid it on the floor next to him. He wasn’t bleeding internally and other than a few bruises and broken bones he’d be safe to move. “Can you help me move him onto the stretcher, i’ll support his neck.” He knelled down and put a hand either side of his face and waited for the others to get in position.
