She yawned a bit, her hand rose to cover her mouth and prevent rudeness.

“I mean, it’s literally routine. It’s pretty boring, but at least it’s safe. I really feel bad for anyone that goes on the away teams.”

–ENS Naomi D. Locke, Sci

Roger chuckled. “I haven’t had the opportunity to be on one myself.” He gave a shrug of his shoulders. “I guess now with my new position I’ll be getting that call more often.“

They reached the science lab, and Roger hit the button on the door panel and the doors slid open. “I apologize, Naomi, may I call you Naomi? I’m afraid I don’t know your area of study.”

-Roger Ferguson, CSO

“Well, considering we’ll be working together, I don’t mind. And I focus on xenology mainly, but I do branch out. Usually to other animal-related sciences like studies in ecosystems, micro studies, and more. I minored in Virology.” Naomi pointed out as she realized they arrived at the labs.

“Oh that’s wonderful!” Roger said cheerfully. “I majored in biology myself with a minor in zoology.”

She paused for a moment and glanced about. Her posture appeared to been waiting for something, but it never happened. Immediately she relaxed.

“This moment almost felt too peaceful. I’m waiting for something to come along and ruin it.” The woman admitted. Even when the missions had been months or longer apart, she still didn’t trust things to stay peaceful.

Roger chuckled. “I know that feeling.” He let out another softer chuckle. “I remember many a nights being here in the lab all alone, and I would hear a strange noise or something. I would feel like jumping out of my skin.” He smiled. “Come on, lets take a look at the sensor data and see what we might learn.”

-Roger Ferguson, CSO

“The lab at night makes my blood run cold. I make a point of avoiding the night shift if I can. Or at least, make someone else is also on duty.” Noami shuddered then continued to walk with Roger.

When he mentioned the sensor date, she nodded. After they arrived at the console, she slipped into the seat and began to pull up the information.

“Let’s see what we got.” Noami’s fingers clicked across the keys to access the data.

OOC: Sorry to ask this, but are we done with this thread or waiting on the GM?
-Janice B.

((Sim still running… getting to all threads this week… still waiting on a GM but Baumann has notes so we’ll keep things going… meanwhile you two can still discuss things and we’ll get readings for you shortly… thanks for patience. ))

OOC: I actually don’t know what the sensor data IS… so I’m not entirely sure how to continue here
-James/CSO

Atozi had wandered most of the ships already and met some of the crew, it was refreshing that most Humans didn’t seem intimidated or something else towards her and accepted her presences openly, some even engaging in some intresting conversations. Nonetheless she now found herself walking towards the ships Science Labs with a small crate of supplies she had picked up whilst in the Cargo bay and talking to some of the other Jo’s, it was a bit bigger than she expected and struggled to see over the top or round the sides as she walked into the lab.

((Finishing up here, so keep going, but be aware the NEW MAIN SIM has begun… thank you Rob))

As Roger saw a figure entering with a crate in hand, he rushed over. “Here let me take that off your hands.” He gently reached out and took the crate. “Thank you for bringing this to us, Ensign…?” He was drawing a blank and couldn’t remember her name.

-Roger Ferguson, CSO

Passing the man the crate she smiled and said “Ensign Atozi Sh’qyrin, Andorian” Atozi tapped her antenna as if the blue skin didn’t give it away enough. “I just arrived and found some boxed marked for science in the cargo bay, among meeting others I felt it would be prudent to bring them here.
