As more of the crew became aware of him traversing the ships corridors was becoming easier much to Zoz’s relief. He made a point of floating slowly and not waving his tenticles about in any case so as to not cause alarm. Maybe this was why he was exiled to that Mudball planet after the academy he thought. Some higher ranking officer was afraid he would traumatize a ships crew. He chided himself for the thought. It was counter to everything the Federation taught. Besides he had been a told by many of his ships crew before he left them to go to the academy that he was a spectacular example of the esthetic perfection of his species. It was hard to take such things seriously though as it was a tradtional way to say farewell. But the memory of the enthusiam in farewell was electric. Having arrived he cleared his thoughts and rang the door chime.

Ensign Zoz-Eki-Ion. Security.

Ensign Banner sat at his desk and, hearing the door chime, he put down the pad he was holding and answered, “Come in.”

Zoz-Eki -Ion floated into the office vas the door slid open, the squid like creature flated so that it’s 20 tenticles which ended in three finger like hands were a few inches off the ground. S/he started speaking as soon as s/he was in the door. “Greetings councilor. I am Ensign Zoz-Eki-Ion of Security. I have come pursuant to the duty requirement to be determined fit for duty by the ships designated mental health professional.”, s/he said in a formal but friendly tone.

With a smile the counselor replied, “Have a seat and tell me about your time in Starfleet so far.”

Zoz floated over to the chair and anchored itself to the chair by taking hold of the chair back but otherwise made no contact with the chair. “Sitting as you humanoids do is not required for any Argozonite. If it does not inconveinance you I will maintain airborn. My understanding of humanoid physiology is extreamly limited but it has been indicated to me that most humanoids sit upon a unhygenic part of their anatomy As Argozonites mouths are placed under in the middle of the tenticular ring. To sit as you call it would . I do not think I can complete that thought without being vulgar and insulting so I will refrain.”, s/he said and blinked the eye facing the councilor.
