,Non humanoid species that look a bit like Terran Squids . With 20 thin ropy 3 to 4 foot long tenticles that end in a three fingered pad like appendages each tenticle and appendage is individually weak. but many in concert can exert human normal strength. the main body is a bullet shaped rounded cone with the mouth on the bottom. they have four eyes with a range of vision simular to a humans the eyes are equidistantly place around the midpoint of the body giving them 320 degree vision with a 45 degree arc on the up down axis so they can not see directly above or below themselves. locomotion is via a weak telekinesis that only works to move their own mass. they thus float in midair. a wind stronger than 12 kph is enough to overcome their controlled movement and whisk them off. they are thus very reluctant to move beyond tenticle reach of the ground or a object the can anchor themselves to.
They are fairly curious about humanoids and multigendered species as each individual Argozonite is technically both genders and genetic materials are passed to both individuals when mating. Birth is usually to a single live birth. per parent Argozonite. Marital practices vary by the culture grouping the Argozonite came from. unlike most species the cultural differences do not seem to matter to them and non Argozonites witnessing a meeting of two seperate groupings or families often remark that the stories, told by one grouping will change as ideas and facts are traded eagerly. and each group will retreat to reflect on what they each learned till each group finally comes to what may be wildly different conclusions. The average lifespan is two to three hundred years.
Other than their limited telekinises they show no ability or understanding of Emathic or telepathic abilities. Theie own mental facalties are not unreadable to empaths or telepaths but are simply incomprehensable to the person recieving the thought or emotion. so much so that A Argozonite in the same area as a person causes the empath or telepath to recieve scrambled and confusing thoughts. this is considered to be the possible reason Argozonites were enslaved in the past.

History.
their homeworld is unknown as at some point they were enslaved and the species scattered to many worlds. Exactly who enslaved them and why is as yet unknown. Every colony of them found so far has different stories about their history that often conflict with any other colonies. they have adapted to space travel and space stations in prefrence to planetary environments. Some are nomadic traders. some live on stations mining asteroids. They are generally eager explorers quite willing to follow the laws of whomevers space they are in. Several colonies have joined the Federation as members to learn more about The Federation and it’s membership.

Technologies.
They tend to easily adopt whatever technology the people who’s territory they are in are using. often being able to get seemingly incompatable technologies to cooperate. Even going so far as to adapt lower technology items if that is what the locals use. As such it’s hard to pin down just how advanced their own technology is. That they adapt to and make use of both new and ancient technologies quickly is a given. watching others have trouble with technologies seems to amuse them greatly.
