After a quick stop at his assigned quarters Zoz set off to do what was required of any crew new to a Starship. He st out for medical. He was greeting each and every crew person he met in a friendly manner so as not to alarm them. He was facinated that so many of the humanoids even Starfleet personel were so easily upset by the sight of him.
“Hello. Do not be alarmed. I am a Argozonite and a member of this crew now. I hope to get to know you better.” Was starting to sound a bit less than sincere after the 30th or 40th time he had said it. He avoided using gender identifiers as all humanoids looked alot alike to him so he might easily mistake details. His own species were both male and at the same time and even after years amongst humanoids the idea of differing persons having one or the other often confused him. He was tired of greeting persons by the time he arrived in sickbay and so floated in quietly and hovered next to a person gathering his thoughts as to what to say to them.

Hearing a murmur outside his office Jack stood up to investigate and although he had been expecting said crewmember he was indeed surprised by his appearance, there was only so much holopics and medical journals could show. He tugged his jacket and cracked his neck and moved forward, maintaining his regular expression of neutrality. “Ensign Sauce Ekkilon?” His Scottish brogue giving the alien name a… unique approach “I’m Doctor Grey” Trying his best to give an outward expression of calm his inner scientist was more excited than he had been in a long time “You here for your checkup then?” He asked trying to sound casual.

Humanoids often had strange ways of pronouncing Argozonite words and names so Zoz wasn’t overly surprised as the mangling. He blinked his facing eye at the person before him and raised a tenticle toward it as ritual manipulative clasping was a fairly common humanoid custom. “Pleased to meet you Doctor. Refrence documentation identifies you as the officer in the leader role for medical personel. Satisfaction is felt at the honor bestowed by your attention to the needs of this unimportant personage. “, he said in a sighing whisper . “It is factual that this person requires a examination prior to begining service.”, he whispered as another tenticle retrieved a padd containing Medical data on Argozonites which he offered to the doctor person Grey. “The data matrixes of the Federation do not syncronise well with those of my people as yet. In part this is because we do not wish to expose a less advanced culture to more sophisticated technologies than that culture has as yet created. This is in respect for your primary ordinance pertaining to cultural contamination of primatives.” He whispered matter of factly. Though he was a dubious term to use for any Argozonite as they were actually both genders at once. Zoz-Eki-Ion,s soft voice had a deep enough tone that most who didn’t know better would assume it was male. He floated midair with the finger like didgits 3 per tenticle 20 tenticles total were a few inches off the ground. The squid like bullet shaped body had 4 eyes equi distant from each other so as to give him a 360 degree view around himself. Cartilage rather than bone made up a Argozonies skeletal frame which had the side effect of making Zoz only weight around 40 lbs if he had ever actually landed. Tip of tenticle fingers to top of head he was only 4 feet rall. His skin was a greyish blueish . As a uniform he wore a pleated kilt like garment in black and his service color. In this case security yellow goldish the side facing the doctor sported a com badge. If anyone had asked Zoz he would of said the color of the kily was hideous.
