Brekag walked to the Counselor’s office. He let the door alert the counselor of his arrival, and waited for the counselor to respond. He was eager to get his check-ins done and start working on the ship. He felt it was an honor to be one of the few Ferengi in Starfleet.

“Come in!” The electronic voice, although apparently feminine, came from beyond those closed doors. As they departed, a distinctive hiss notifying the woman beyond, she rose her gaze to meet his. “Ah! Hello there, Ensign. What can I do for you?” She greeted, her lips never moving from the thin smile plastered to them.
