The shuttle had entered Onereth’s orbit. “I think you missed a turn a few minutes ago, Gainn,” T’Han said, looking at highlighted area of the map that Xamis sent him.“We are in the air, T’Han,” Rado exclaimed, a bit confused, “I can just turn!” And so he did.
A while later, T’Han told him that they were in a ‘logical’ area to land. Regardless, he trusted her judgement anyway and landed the shuttle. Stepping out of the shuttle, he could see an old Cardassian cruiser about a half mile from them.
“I hope you like walking, T’Han.” He said to wife, before walking in the direction of the cruiser.

Soon after, the door to the cruiser opened and out came a figure. It was a woman. Definitely Bajoran too. Upon seeing him and T’Han, she gasped and said in an unbelieving voice, “Gainn?”
Then, it clicked. The figure that stood before them is his sister. A sister that he long thought was dead. “It’s me, Xam-Xam,” He said before rushing over to give her a big hug. Tears were shed.
When his vision cleared up, he saw three heads peeking out from behind the door. “W-who, uh, are they?” He asked.

Xamis let him go and turned to face the heads. She said something in Cardassian, which Rado instinctively flinched. Even after all these years, the sound of the Cardassian language still did a number on him.
The heads became full bodies as they exited the cruiser and stood very close to Xamis. They were children, probably between the ages of eight and three. The eight-year-old girl had grey skin and ridges on the forehead, neck, and nose. The sole boy, who was probably five, did have both the forehead and neck ridges yet had the skin color of him and Xamis. The three-year-old, who clung the closest to Xamis, seemed to havethe light gray skin of a Cardassian, but lacked the forehead ridges and instead had ridges on her nose. _She kinda looks like Xamis when she was that age,__ Rado thought.
“Gainn, meet Tecel, Hapall, and Mar.” Xamis introduced them, patting each kid on the back to indicate who was who. “Kids, m-meet my brother Gainn. He’s your uncle…from Bajor.”
