Chris had only just arrived having been freshly graduated from the academy, he got to the door of the security office, he quickly straightened his new yellow uniform and fiddled with brand new Ensign pip, he rang the chime and waited for the COS to give his approval to enter

Rado was in his office, viewing a lieutenant’s shift log on his work PADD when he heard the door chime. He automatically pressed the button that opened the door.

Not recognizing the person standing before him, Rado said, “You, uh, must be the new ensign the Captain told me about. Ensign Taylor Chris, is it?”
