The security chief had agreed to meet with him. He was actually happy to have her agree to this. He needed access to various types of weapons. This was a project he was never able to get off the ground as the CSO of the Angel. But, he had time and now at least some autonomy to do this project. BJ wasn’t sure how his CO wife would approve of him doing this. But, that would come later on.

Janzen

Zubreana entered the science lab and looked around for the mission specialist. She wasnt sure excatly why she was needed but she made her way over to where he was working “What can I do for you commander?”

Azon, COS-

BJ turned to see her. “I could use some weapons. I’ll assume that I would need your permission to get them.”

Janzen

Zubreana raised a eyebrow curiously “Before I can even authorize that kind of request I need to know why!” She said as she stepped closer to the chief.

Azon, COS

She was following the typical fleet procedure. “I’m testing out a new design for body armor. I think I’m ready for weapons testing.”

Janzen

“You THINK your ready for testing?” she said putting emphasis on the word think. It wouldn’t do her any good to loose her position for not being throughly ontop of this.

Azon, COS

The typical response from someone who doesn’t.. understand the process. “How am I suppose to know it’s ready if I don’t shoot at it.”BJ responded. “I’m not ready for testing on officers. But. I believe that it’s ready for weapons testing.”

Janzen

“What kind of weapons do you need?” She asked as she studied the armor that he was working on.

Azon, COS

BJ had a few things on his list of things. “I’ll take any energy weapon that isn’t a handheld phaser. I can get that.”

Janzen

The doors to the lab swooshed open and Wendell entered. He grabbed a blue lab coat and walked over to where the other officers were. “Sorry. My alarm failed to wake me up,” he sheepishly admitted.

CSO

BJ didn’t care that much. “And… you’re the boss. I’m not.”

Janzen

“I’m usually here. Or on my station on the bridge. At least 15 minutes early. And leave around 15 minutes after my shift is over,” Wendell said.

CSO

As the chief of security Zubreana stepped in “and we all over sleep every now and then. We just got to make sure it doesn’t become habit.” She turned to BJ and continued. “Meet me in the holodeck 0800 tomorrow for some tests on the new armor. Ill make sure we have what we need to make sure it can withstand several different types of weapons.”

Azon, COS

As Ens. Fil entered the science Lab to see Cmdr. Jansen, Fil stood at attention and said, “Ens. Fil reporting”.

“Wow I guess everyone want to see how fast I can make my body armor non functioning.

Janzen

“I can think of a half a dozen ways,” Wendell said. “By the way, I don’t know if I should tell you this. But. Hidden deep in the armory. Is a Klingon disruptor pistol.”

CSO
“A …disrupter...., how did you get it?” Penji said. “Shouldn’t you tell security?” As a starfleet officer, Fil knew to keep it a secrete.

“Technically, he just did. Chief’s over there.” BJ said pointing towards. But, that will come in handy.”
