As the ship rocked under the phaser fire, the doors to sickbay opened up and a couple of walking wounded entered before sitting down on a couple of chairs.Seconds later, two injured crew were beamed in, one unconscious with significant burns across their body, and the other alert but with a piece of his femur sticking out from his leg.
GM
Lt. Cmdr. Sharvi quickly went over to the officers that walked through the doors and started observing them with the tricorder. When the two other patients were beamed in, he seen the one with his femur sticking out, called to some medical ensigns to assist with the walk in officers and immediately started evaluating the patient.
Lt. Cmdr. Sharvi, Medical OfficerThe patient was conscious, but in a lot of pain. He had fractured his right leg in multiple places, with part of the bone displaced and protruding from a wound in the skin. There didn’t seem to be a major amount of blood loss, but it was still creating a mess over the sickbay floor.
GM
Frank came over to Sharvi from where he was helping other patients, triaging this as a more urgent situation. “Commander. Where do you need me?” he asked, letting Sharvi run the scene as it were, making himself available to help treat.
Dr. Frank Silva
Chief Medical OfficerDr. Nightingale he was moving fast. He was already conducting nurses to start moving the most serious injuries to the front of the line and getting people are in danger of dying Into the ER. Some crew entered and told nightingale something and he grabbed medical kit and rushed into the hall. A few moments later he was back with a patient who now has a belt around his leg acting as a tourniquet. To help slow the blood loss. Lance took a deep breath in and let it go and went right back to work.

OOC: I hope you don’t mind, but I thought I would provide some feedback on this post, for everyone’s benefit. Whilst there is nothing wrong with it, it feels very summarised - as if you were telling someone after the fact what you had done. You could have made it more of a narrative by explaining your characters actions and thinking. For example:
Dr Nightingale was moving fast, the adrenaline from the situation coursing through his body. He quickly turned to two nurses, pointing them in the direction of a new set of injured crewmen. “Nurses, triage those coming into sickbay. Let’s get those requiring urgent attention to the front of the line and, if needed, into surgery.
Suddenly, two crew came into sickbay, and shouted toward Nightingale. “Help, there’s been an explosion in the corridor.”
Also, do use the prompts that I have given. The unconscious burns victim is still lying on the floor…
GM
“This guy’s situation is serious, but manageable, I just need to get this leg treated a bit more, and he’ll be ready for surgery, however, I don’t think anyone has checked on that guy on the floor. If you could assess him for me.” He asked Dr. Silva. Hearing the cry for help, he instinctly responded to the crewman, “Dr. Nightingale just sent nurses to the hallway to assist, please show them where to go, we can assess their injuries once the nurses have brought them in.”

Acting Chief EngineerOnly to add to the chaos, in came Sol’lin. Wearing green scabs and blood now in solid drops down his face. In his arms was the Captain, still unconscious,
“The Captain requires immediate medical attention…” he announced. Ideally he could get help soon. There wasn’t much of his strength left. Even Vulcans do not have infinite strength. With the adrenaline running dry he may be moments away from collapse himself.

Cain rolled his eyes trying to figure out what happened when he noticed he was being carried. As he took a breath, he asked, “Could you please let me down?” and looked over towards Dr. Silva.

Lance had a med kit and a small team “I am heading to engineering” he said as he left to help the calls for help. He was new to the vessel but was very confident and his ability to help.
Dr. Lance Nightingale (Medical Ensign)
Silva watched Lance leave and blinked a few times. Pursing his lips he shrugged and then gave the Ensign a thumbs up when he left before muttering to the captain, “He’ll be fine. He can’t screw up engineering triage. So long as he doesn’t try to play hero of course.”
Cain watched the Doctor leave and tapped his comm badge and told science Lab 1 to zap the cube before going unconscious again.

Sol’lin looked around. At first it seemed like complete chaos, but there was an order to it. Like ants swarming to fix a cave in. It made him consider that perhaps he could be doing more than standing there.
He located an empty biobed and was able to set the Captain down,
“The Captain knocked unconscious during the attack,” he explained after getting the attention of the nearby nurse,
“He’s been phasing in and out of consciousness. I am also trained in standard first aid procedures, so if I can be of assistance, I am available.”
|Ens. Sol’lin, Communication Officer|
“If you don’t mind, you need treatment yourself, sit here on this biobed and let it read your vitals, and get loaded, as I look over the Captain, either I’ll come back to you, or Dr. Silva will when he’s done with his patient.” Dr. Sharvi responded to the ensign. “You’ve done a good job getting the captain and yourself to us, Ensign.” He continued.
Lt. Cmdr. Sharvi, Medical OfficerSol’lin gave a nod, sitting down on an available bed. Ready to move if necessary, as he was not as injured as most.
“Give him 5CCs of Thilomine, and 5mls of Diframpton,” Silva said over his shoulder to Sharvi when the Captain passed out again, his attention split between his own patient and the CO. “Monitor for arrhythmia and involuntary bowl movements.” Clinical and precise as always.
Frank turned back to the guy on the floor, squatting down as Sharvi assigned him the case and whipped out his tricorder to do the scan really quickly, “Burns over his body. Likely going to go into shock soon.” As he waited for his scans to finish he motioned for a couple of nurses, “Lift him into biobed three, please. Get a full work up, we need to stabilize his heart rate before he strokes out.”

Chief Medical OfficerThe com badge beeped =/\= this is Dr. Nightingale in engineering it is a complete mess down here. We’re trying to triage as much in the hallway, but we need some more hands. =/\=
Dr. Lance Nightingale (Medical Ensign)
Cain opened his eyes and heard the chaos happening around him. He did not have time to find out what happened to him, he needed to know what was happening to his ship. Cain sat up defying what the nurses were telling him and tapped his comm badge to talk to the bridge.
Nightroad, CO
The results came in from Dr Frank’s scans; it did not look good for Ensign Montgomery. He had already gone into shock, with multiple organ failures, and his heart going into tachycardia.
GM
Experienced doctors don’t get paid to be heroes, they get paid to know when to stop wasting time better spent elsewhere. With a frown at the read outs he let out a soft sight and motioned for the nurse. “Set the biobed to try and get his heart rate under control. Nothing else will matter if we can’t restore blood flow. Next we will need to start him on dialysis to try and clean that blood enough until we get the organs regenerated.” He nodded then, slowly contemplating the situation before turning back towards the CO when his name was called.
For Sol’lin it was like being a stone among the rapids. He was able to remain stable, emotionally under control while everything rushed around him. He didn’t take it personally if he had to wait for treatment, as there were others far worse off. But he also could be more of use if he could more easily maneuver his hands. Or at the very least feel them.
|Ens. Sol’lin, Communication Officer|
Cain looked around and said, “Dr. Silva, I need to be on the bridge. Is there anything wrong with me that I cannot leave?” And waited for his results.
Nightroad, CO
“For starters, you’re going in and out of consciousness, scans aren’t done fully yet, but it looks like mostly just bumps and bruises on the outside, like you were ragdolled around the bridge.” He responded to Captain Nightroad. Then he turned to Ensign Sol’lin. “I’ve administered a few treatments into this concoction, giving these scans, I don’t even know how you carried the Captain to get here. This also slightly might hurt a bit. I apologize in advance.” He placed the device on his neck, and shifted his shoulder, which caused the bone to pop back into place. “Let that take effect, you should be able to move your limbs in a few minutes.” He told the ensign, then turned back to the CO, and read the scans.
Lt. Cmdr. Sharvi, Medical OfficerCain looked at the Commander and said “Great.” as he rubbed his temple and continued with, “If you need me I’ll be in the bridge.” Cain stood up from the biobed and said. “We are under attack and I need to know what is happening.”
Nightroad, CO
Frank took no action to deter the captain from returning to the bridge. “He is fit enough for duty,” he said with lift of his shoulders. “And if he passes out, that is why we have an XO.” Practical and to the point.
Dr. Frank Silva
Chief Medical Officer
“Glad I got your ok Doc.” Cain replied as he moved out of sickbay.
