As soon as the turbolift doors opened on Deck 12, Rado was almost immediately greeted with phaser fire that just barely missed. Not leaving time to be horrified, he ducked into some cover where a security ensign was.

“T’Han!” He shouted, firing his phaser at an intruder, “Status Update!”

Curiously, whilst the intruders had fired at Rado, they were clearly not interested in pursuing. Perhaps a tricorder and a decent knowledge of the deck layout would help Rado work out what they were interested in. After all, Decks 10, 11 and 12 seemed oddly targeted.

After explaining to T’Han that he now was the Chief of Sercurity and now her boss, Rado wondered what they were after. They clearly weren’t trying to get anywhere. Were they trying to get something? He pulled out his tricorder and began scanning while T’Han continued firing beside him.

“T’Han! They seemed to be concentrating on the Science Department!”
