Jack pulled out his his Padd and keyed up the sequence. He had informed the Captain he would be doing random drills so he could get a clear idea of how ready his team was. It would also server to get the team together and discuss the new team he would be putting together. Keying up the drill sequence he pressed the start button. The Alarm sounded throughout the halls of the ship. =/\=”Intruder Alert Cargo Bay 1, Intruder Alert Cargo Bay 1, Security to Cargo Bay 1, This is the Chief of Security , This is a Drill”=/\=

He would now wait to see how long it too his team to check in and get on scene.

Aza felt the vibration of the alarm through the soles of her boots before she fully registered the sound. Her sharp dark eyes narrowed as the announcement crackled through the ship’s comms.
Aza was already halfway through checking her phaser when the call came in. The timing of the drill was inconvenient, to say the least, but that was precisely the point. It was meant to catch them off guard. She holstered her weapon, the motion swift and practiced, before she turned and strode out of the armory.

Tyr had been on patrol of the upper decks when the drill call came in. He looked at NE Black his usual partner and the two nodded. They informed the main security office that they’d be going up from deck 9 to deck 5 through Turbolifts then jogged towards the nearest lift. Security Override on the lift system to get priority access for the next lift. Within three minutes of the call, they were jogging down the main corridor of Deck 5 towards the main cargo bay. Tyr and NE Black took positions on either side of the main entrance, Tyr tapped his badge =^=Tyr to Security, me and Black are stationed outside Cargo Bay 1 doors, permission to engage=^=

She reached the door to the cargo bay just as Tyr and Black positioned themselves on either side. She didn’t acknowledge them, her focus entirely on the task at hand. Aza pressed her back against the wall, hand resting lightly on her phaser, ready to draw. She waited for the order.

Before checking the com badge and responding he looked at the time, not bad he thought. Lets see if they check the room first. =/\=”Make entry and Clear”=/\= he said and watched the security feeds .

Rado Gainn had been on cafeteria duty in the event of a fight when he heard the alert. In his rush to get to Cargo Bay 1, he missed the part where this was a drill.
Sprinting to the turbolift, he realized that he had yet to memorize where Cargo Bay 1 was. So when he got onto the turbolift, he asked the ship’s computer, “Computer, where is Cargo Bay 1?”
“Cargo Bay 1 is on Deck Five, Ensign.” The computer’s monotone voice answered.
“Deck Five, then.”
As soon as the turbolift doors opened, Rado resumed running. Eventually, he came across two security personnel preparing to enter the Cargo Bay.
I’m coming, Prophets, he thought to himself as he followed the other two inside the cargo bay.

Jake stood in the center of the room there would be no combat simulation this time around but soon the new Rapid Response Team would be drilling a lot.

Aza was through the door a split second later, her movements fluid and silent. Her eyes swept the room in a systematic pattern, noting every potential hiding spot, every shadow. She moved with the precision of someone who had done this a hundred times before, her body almost acting on instinct. There were no enemies, just Lieutenant Turner standing in the center of the bay.

Tyr moved in side by side with Aza, mirroring her movements trusting her to take the other side of the room. He scanned with his eyes, his phaser turning with his gaze, he didn’t holster until he was certain the room was secure although he’d expected as much.

To Rado’s surprise, rather than seeing Orion pirates or Romulan spies, instead he saw his commanding officer Lieutenant Turner. “Sir!” He said, noticeably out of breath, “w-where’s the enemy?”

She tightened her grip on the phaser, ready for anything, but Turner’s relaxed stance told her all she needed to know. It was a drill, nothing more.
As Rado burst in, asking about the enemy, Aza remained silent, her gaze still scanning the room.

Tyr looked back at the new entry, he hadn’t been officially introduced to the newest member of the Security team as of yet, it was nice to no longer be the newest kid on the block anymore. He had already holstered his weapon but his hand hovered over it as he approached the Security Chief.
