In the transporter room, the operator waited for the command from the away team to beam them back.Captain Aiden Voss
Commanding Officer
USS MemorialAs the team dematerialized, it was clear that John was far from pleased. With his teeth clenched and a fixed glare straight ahead, he stepped off the pad and turned to stand at attention. Despite his evident dissatisfaction, he remained silent, striving to uphold a professional demeanor.
John Tolly Chief of Operations
Sifeda stood firm, her posture reflecting her simmering anger as she watched her team materialize back aboard the USS Memorial. Sifeda’s eyes locked onto John Tolly, a slight crease canold be seen in her forhead where a Romulan crease should have been if she had one.
“Every get to your tasks, see our guests to secured quarters.” she said curtly to the rest of the away team, her tone leaving no room for debate. L
“Lieutenant Tolly, report to my ready room immediately,” Sifeda ordered, her voice cold and authoritative.
Commander Itri
(Executive Officer)Tolly nodded coldly
“Yes Sir”John Tolly Chief of Operations
“Where is it?!” Shouted the Ferengi. “Where is the cube?!” He squealed. “You left it behind, didn’t you?”
The Ferengi was visibly agitated, tears starting to form in his eyes. It was clear that the cube meant a great deal to him… of course, being a Ferengi, the motivation was purely financial.
GM Dipper
GamemasterThalia held the cube up clearly in his view after stepping off the transporter. “Don’t worry, it’s here. But I am afraid we will have to detain it as well, only till we are.able to speak with you and determine it’s significance.”
Ensign Summerhill
(Science Officer)“You know about as much as I do hew-mon,” retorted the Ferengi. “All I know is that it’s not from this dimension.”
GM
Thalia studied the Ferengi’s face, searching for any sign of deceit. His tears and agitation could be genuine, but she wasn’t about to let her guard down. She knew the Ferengi were masters of manipulation and deception, and she wouldn’t be fooled so easily.
Holding the cube firmly in her hand, she took a step closer to the Ferengi. “You expect me to believe that you know nothing about this cube? You’re a Ferengi. You wouldn’t be so upset if there wasn’t something valuable about it.”Ensign Summerhill
(Science Officer)“Eeeesh!!”, exclaimed the Ferengi. “You wouldn’t recognise valuable if it was plated in latinum!”.
He grabbed the science officer’s tricorder off her belt, and flipped it open. The scans that had been taken earlier were still loaded.
“See, there!” He said, somewhat arrogantly. “The scans… they can’t penetrate the outer shell,” he continued. True enough, the scans only revealed the outer shell was an isotopic variant of titanium. They also showed that the quantum signature of the box indicated that it wasn’t from this dimension.
GM
“Sir please step away and return the Tricorder” A voice called from the entrance. Tyr stood there having just entered as the Ferengi grabbed the scanner, he arrived as a part of the escort team. He stood with hands to his side in a seemingly relaxed position.

Lt. McCleary, the Memorials chief of intel, stepped in behind Ens. Bragason.
“Sir, if you don’t want to be shot, detained, or worse, you’ll do as Mr. Bragason says. It’s in your best interest.”
“A fate worse than being shot?!” the Ferengi exclaimed. “Are you going to bankrupt me?” he said, mockingly.
Turning his attention to the science officer, he continued, “Ens. Summerhill, get that cube under a stasis field and stored somewhere safe.”
“Mr . . . . ? I don’t believe I caught your name, but if you’d come with me, Captain Voss would like to speak with you.”
“Frax,” replied the Ferengi, seemingly compliant if only in this matter.
Saxon nodded to Bragason to take up a position behind the Ferengi, while he stepped to the aliens left.

Thalia kept her eyes locked on the Ferengi as he released the tricorder. His arrogance was nothing new, but she knew better than to let his attitude distract her. The cube in her hand felt heavier now, its significance growing with every second that passed. She had to get it under a stasis field immediately, but something about Frax’s behavior nagged at her. The way he deflected, his exaggerated fear, and now his sudden compliance, it all felt too rehearsed.
“Frax,” she repeated, committing the name to memory. Every instinct screamed that there was more to this encounter, and she was determined to uncover it.“Ensign Tyr,” she addressed the security officer without breaking eye contact with Frax. “Keep a close eye on him. I’m not convinced he’s being entirely truthful.”
Without waiting for a response, Thalia exited the room, cradling the cube as though it might vanish if she let it out of her sight. Her pace quickened as she headed to the nearest lab. What was it about this cube that had Frax so rattled? And why couldn’t their scans penetrate it? The implications of a quantum signature from another dimension were staggering, but she couldn’t let herself get lost in the science just yet.Ensign Summerhill
(Science Officer)Tyr nodded at Summerhill, taking her suggestion seriously. He smiled politely at the Ferengi “If you’ll come this way” He stepped to the side allowing him walk out first.

Aza stood to the side as Tyr directed the Ferengi to move ahead. Her eyes tracked every movement. Aza had seen this kind of behavior before compliance that may mask a deeper agenda. She wasn’t about to let her guard down, especially not with someone like Frax.
As they walked, Aza fell in step beside Tyr, keeping her tone professional but low. “The XO wants him questioned about the cube Ensign Summerhill took to the lab,” she informed Tyr, her voice steady. “How are your interrogation skills?”Ensign (Aza)
(Security officer)
Tyr raised an eyebrow at Aza “No practical experience, went through basic and advanced back at the academy” He said back. There was no practical reason to whisper due to the Ferengi’s sensitive hearing but he did so anyway, it would be beneficial to seem more or less like the naive one on the team.
